Start astride your bike in a luxury three-car garage in downtown Newark, beside the Prudential Center. Touch the throttle and the door lifts onto the street.

THE BIKE
A litre-class sport bike: a live colour dash with speed, gear, lean angle and a map, two live mirrors, a smoked bubble screen.

RIDE IT LIKE A REAL BIKE
Grip the bars with your own hands. Roll your right wrist back to open the throttle, brake with your left hand, push the bars to lean into a corner. Tuck behind the screen for top speed, or turn wheelie control off and lift the front.

30 KM ROUND NEWARK + JERSEY CITY
Up onto the Pulaski Skyway over the Passaic and the Hackensack, down NJ 139 into Jersey City with Manhattan across the Hudson, then the Turnpike Extension south past Liberty State Park and the Statue of Liberty, high over the Newark Bay Bridge, round by Newark Airport, McCarter Highway through downtown Newark and back through the Ironbound.

Seven events on real roads - race for gold against your own ghost bike. Six speed cameras, and Rush Hour near-miss combos on the Turnpike.
