LIMINAL PHASE is a journey into the dark corners of Frank's fractured mind as he's struggling with psychic pain and teetering on the brink of a mental breakdown. Obsessed with videogames, Frank's world is turned upside down when a floppy disk containing the game Sanctum 3-D mysteriously appears in his apartment.

As Frank becomes more immersed in the game, it becomes harder for him to distinguish between fantasy and reality. In order to save himself from spiraling further into darkness and from reaching the bottom of the dark spiral he's caught in, Frank must confront his deepest fears and battle his way through twisted and horrific environments created by his own mind.

This VR action horror game, set in a parallel ‘90s, invites players to fight malevolent monsters, solve peculiar puzzles, and explore Frank's troubled psyche.

Inspired by games and movies from the era of CRT TVs, MS-DOS, and big box PC games, LIMINAL PHASE is a haunting and immersive experience for fans of horror.

This game is SCARY! And really fun!

The overall vibe of this game is pretty scary. I was nervous right from the start and that feeling doesn’t go away the entire time. I have been going through the game very slowly. Checking all the corners, turning around every three seconds, and I even watched the game through casting on my phone a couple times because it was freaking me out! 🙈😂

Good game so far. It’s both retro and modern. I’m excited to keep playing. I think I will do better during day time.. 😅

A Fun Horror Game with a Dash of Madness

So far, it is definitely growing on me. I have only checked out the Quest version and not the Steam version. It has a nice retro game feel and some great psychological horror creepy vibes. It runs smooth, no motion sickness or feeling woozy, which is super important to me. That is one of the first things I like to check, the comfort of the game. I like the monsters... even the creepy ones that just stand there and stare at you. Kind of nerve wrecking... but not in a super bad way lol. The gun, well, let's just say it's a first for me haha... and I'm all for that.

There are some minor suggestions... maybe offer a tutorial or a help guide when you're new to the game. There were some parts where I had no idea what to do, and it did take me a bit to figure it out. That might help. Also, the mechanics work well but at some points I couldn't turn lol. Just minor stuff.

I do recommend checking it out though. I feel like the dev put in some great work. I will be continuing the game for fun, so I do look forward to that. All in all, good job. I love the feel of the game.
