This is a high quality title. Great narrative, great graphics, great atmosphere. What else is there to say?
The mechanics are simple, easy to learn or at least remember if you've played any shooter on these headsets, in fact it's even easier simce you dont need to manually load the gun, just open the chamber and bullets fill the slots. The atmosphere is oppressive, just like how you'd want a horror game to feel and I love the comic style but I don't think it meshes with a horror theme because the enemies, in my opinion, look kind of goofy with this style.
I'm having issues with the melee that I'm not sure are intended features, bugs, or my old headset: Melee weapons like the hatchet get stuck in enemies while I'm swinging so I have to either finish them with the pistol (what I wanted to avoid using by using the axe) or risk grabbing it out of them while they're still attacking. Nothing game-breaking, just curious if that's intentional.
This game has an amazing atmosphere and simplistic mechanics which makes it one of the few titles I’ve played start to finish. The art and imagery are top notch and I truly loved the entire experience! Buy this game!!
Possibly the best single player game in the store. A great example that you can make a game for Quest with a good story, acceptable length and good gameplay and mechanics.
The comic book look and feel is very successful. It saves resources on the standalone headset without losing immersion. It is important to mention the sound design of this game, which I find exquisite. It is mandatory to play it with headphones for a full experience.
Get ready to get into this nightmarish experience that will keep you on edge all the time and that at various times will put your heart in a fist. I love how several of the game's situations have been maliciously designed :D
To the people at Drifter: please, we want more games like this. Have you thought about what an Evil Dead game in this style would be like? It could be even crazier. It would be awesome!
However, there's a problem: it doesn't use cloud save and also, there's no way to manually save the game. So if for some reason you need to temporarily uninstall the game, you lose all your progress. To the developers: please fix this.
This is easily one of the best quest games,it's original, graphics and story are amazing, and the mechanics are so good.Ive been playing computer games since I was little and this one stood out.well done developers pure masterpiece of a horror game in vr.
Haven't played this in a while and I just noticed I never wrote a review for it.
If you like a mature horror, based shooter story, this is a solid one.
I got it on my quest 2 soon after I got it and its a by far 1 of those games that even if you haven't played for a year and forgot what's it al about you will always remember that this is a top notch horror shooter.
