I want to start off by saying; I am biased because my game glitches out, and i wasn't able to continue where I left off at... but that could just be me. Aside from that its a simple game where you walk through doors experiencing the simple yet psychotic life of a (schizophrenic?) Painter, who is trying to encapsulate his emotions in his paintings but neglecting his family in the pursuit of doing so. I understand it is a rather old game. But there's not a lot of good (not demonic) horror games on VR so this was kinda nice. Other than that I glitched out after witnessing a burning piano and as I went through a door (or attempted to) I got teleported out of bounds... all I could hear was a baby crying and a door squeaking (repetitively). If I could attach an image I would. Just don't buy the game, or buy it and return it before the 2 hour window where you can't refund it any more like I tried to do but failed. Hopefully this let's you know enough about it to understand what it is. It is also really dark and you can't see anything unless your contrast is at 0
I played this game on my pc with me meta quest 3 . Lots of scary fun . Definitely worth a play 👻😇
Love the horror painting / ink them to it all .
This Game Is Such A Struggle To Play Just Because Of How Scary It Is. Probably One Of The Best Psychological Horrors Ever!
I've replayed this game all the way through several times, so obviously I’ve enjoyed it. If I have one primary complaint, it is that some of the keys and collectibles are WAY TOO HARD TO FIND. I still haven’t found all of them despite several play-throughs specifically dedicated to finding the rest. The wall safes are probably the worst part of the game; combination safes just aren’t a good idea for VR. The jump scares are good, but only work as well as they do because of the overall atmosphere. There are some technical issues with the game that you’ll learn to avoid by trial and error. There are areas that will glitch and loop and will require a restart in order to continue. Once back in the game, you need to do things differently than before, or you will get stuck in the same loop. Sometimes looking up the chapter you’re in online can help if you keep getting stuck. If you like mystery and horror, I highly recommend this game, just be aware of the technical issues you may encounter.
it's so dark I can't see where I am or where I'm going plus it glitches out repeatedly.
I enjoyed this game and it was entertaining. There were several parts where I was puzzled and it took a while to figure out what to do next. There were also parts that put me on edge. However, I did experience some minor bugs that made me have to quit and go back into the game. The graphics weren't amazing, but I wasn't expecting them to be. Additionally, there were times where I couldn't take the game seriously as it was over the top. All in all, I liked the game and would recommend it to anyone who wants to spend money irresponsibly like I do.
