From the creator of Cubism comes LASER DANCE, a mixed reality game that turns your living room into a laser obstacle course straight from a spy film!

Play in any room

Players move between two buttons on opposite ends of their living room, traversing a sequence of laser patterns which adapt to the room’s size and layout. Different laser patterns will have them move in different ways, as they dance, dodge, and crawl their way to the finish line.

Easy to learn, hard to master

Laser Dance’s deceptively simple gameplay makes for a perfect party game to get both newcomers and seasoned VR players moving in mixed reality!

Early Access features:

Amazing

18 levels with 4 challenges each that’s basically 90 different levels! And they are fun to replay too! The game is more fun/challenging in a bigger room but a smaller one is ok too. Do yourself a favor and just buy the game for 10 bucks, it’s totally worth it!

Sugg.: Red Markers Without Wall Corners

First try: I cleared a 7×7 ft open space between the kitchen and dining room. The two red markers need to be placed on opposite wall corners, but my play area isn’t against any walls—it’s surrounded by furniture. As a result, the laser beams make me run into it. It would be great if we could place virtual poles or anchors for the markers to define the play space.

Update: Play Space Fixed:
Thank you very much, Thomas, for your quick reply. On my second attempt, I figured out how to add/ mark obstacles that weren't detected, and my play space is now perfectly defined. This game is absolutely amazing! Is it possible to skip a challenge and move on to the next one? An older friend can't crawl on the floor... I'm excited to see what comes next!

Update: Great to hear you were able to resolve the room setup! Yes, finishing the first level unlocks all levels in the first stage, so you can easily select another level and skip ahead. Additionally, there are some accessibility options in the settings that let you define how low you're able to crawl, so if you increase that value the game can be much more accessible for someone with more restricted mobility!

Hey StephHurtu, thank you for your feedback!
If I understood correctly, when you place the buttons, it's always over some furniture making the game hard to play? You can in principle scan the entire room and place buttons against the walls, and in most cases a path around your furniture is found. Normally the safe zones around the buttons also become bigger to accommodate for buttons placed over furniture, but something might have gone wrong here if that hasn't been the case.

Would you be open to sharing your roomscan with me? (in the settings, press the "share room with developer" button and ideally include your username)
This way I can better understand the space you're playing in and see how I can improve the button placement system.
I do also appreciate the suggestion to place buttons freely in space - I've heard the suggestion before, and am thinking through ways of implementing something like this.

If you'd like to follow up on this issue, feel free to reach out to me directly at thomas@laserdancegame.com, or join our discord (LaserDanceGame.com/discord), and I'll be happy to discuss this further!

Great Game, But Needs More Levels

This game is exactly what I was looking for in MR. It has many interesting aspects and is super fun to use. However, I feel like the focus is too much on designing new types of lasers when really it should be on adding more levels with what there already is, because right now, the game can be completed in less then an hour. Other than that, it is a great game overall and I look forward to seeing where it ends up.

Great concept!

This game is different and fun! Feel like it's still missing a lot though. Would love to see music and co-op.

Won’t download

Purchased this app and it won’t download

Hey Bwomack27, sorry to hear you're having issues downloading the game! This is most likely a system issue - perhaps there's not enough store left on your device? If that's not it, turning off the headset and turning it back on might help as well.
