KV31 is a Backrooms-inspired experience based on the work of Kane Parsons. You enter a strange, unstable environment made up of repeating rooms, long corridors, and spaces that don’t behave the way they should. At first it seems simple, but the longer you explore, the more things stop making sense.
Layouts don’t stay consistent. Paths loop back on themselves, familiar areas feel slightly different, and it becomes harder to tell if you’re making progress or going in circles. Some sections are quiet and empty, while others feel off in ways that are difficult to explain. Small details change, and the environment doesn’t always stay the same when you return to it.
There’s no map, no clear objective, and no instructions guiding you. Exploration is the main focus, and figuring things out is part of the experience. Paying attention to your surroundings matters, especially as the space becomes more unpredictable.
You are not alone in KV31. Something else exists within the environment, and it reacts to you. The deeper you go, the more noticeable it becomes.
Take your time, stay aware, and see how far you can get.
