First of all, this game is beautiful! The price is also great! I got more than my money’s worth for sure!
It’s similar to games like beat Saber but calming/ beautiful rather than flashy environments. I wasn’t convinced I’d like the music because I play these games as a workout and thought I needed more heart pounding music but the calming music is perfect in this game. You start off with two weapons and choice of environments with different games and get more as you improve. This game is more interesting than beat Saber and gets your heart rate up. You get both an upper and lower body workout. It’s nice to have something different to go to , making exercise more fun. I’m happy to add Kung Fu Beat to my collection. I hope to see more games like this in VR. A meditation app with the beautiful artwork and music in this game would be wonderful.
Those are the positives , now the bad. I have no idea what I’m supposed to do with the drums . All I know is I’m failing. The directions don’t make any sense…something about hitting on coincidence.????? What on Earth does that mean? The developers need to hire a decent Chinese to English editor so things are more clear. I’m still giving 5 stars. The game isn’t perfect but from what I see now, it’s well on its way to being a really good game!
