INVERSE
SurvivalINVERSE is a multiplayer horror game where 1 player is the monster and 4 other players work together as Agents to complete their objective and defeat the Nul monster.
The Foundation wanted to advance teleportation technology. What they found was a pathway to a dangerous world beyond our own, and they opened the door to the creatures that inhabit it. Play together or die alone in INVERSE!
THE AGENTS
Work together as Agents to restore power to the control terminals before time runs out. Communicate with each other using walkie-talkies, revive your downed teammates using defibrillators, and slow down the Nul with a trap mine. Once power is restored to all terminals, the weapons vaults are unlocked and it is time to go on the offensive and eradicate the Nul. Unlock additional perks and equipment loadout to customize your gameplay strategy.
THE NUL
Play as the Nul and power up your attacks to incapacitate the team of Agents to claim victory. Agents will try to slow you down any way they can. Avoid activated trap mines and destroy any locked doors in your path. Your supernatural abilities and perks will help in your hunt; unlock perks and unleash the horror!

Play the single-player challenge maps to build your skills and unlock Foundation Logs to learn more about the world of INVERSE and the Nul monsters that are threatening our existence.

This is dead by daylight vr but devs don’t update anymore sadly and no one plays this amazing game anymore sadly its really fun with friends devs PLEASE update this game has AMAZING potential this might be Goty imo

Game is dead / stopped development
You read the title right. There are no players on meta or steam that play this game. There is 0 active players mainly because the developers have abandoned this game. Just for context, they haven’t updated this game in nearly 2 years. On their discord they claim they have stopped all their development on INVERSE because it wasn’t generating enough profit. The only good this is that the servers are still up but for not very long. There is also no offline play so when the servers go night night, the game will be fully dead before the end of 2025. Feb 2025: it looks like i have to update my review about the active devs, sorry to say there are not anymore active devs on this game ;-(( so no new places will be made. i dont want to misguide people reading my review
But i keep all the stars because i really love this game you can also play it alone and choose to be a agents or the bad nul monster
16 sept 2023 : great game you can play with 4 friends as agent and kill the monster or be the monster to survive the agents.
5 strange places to survive in team or kill them as the monster
easy to play but difficult to survive but there are many upgrades with perk that make you live easier
if no friends are online also the AI agents or nul do great job to practise with but do not have to say that we want more players so look up some reviews and come in to help.
the devs are active so there will be come more places more perks also skins and so.

Used to love it.
You guys ruined the game by nerfing the Reapers fling with the fling tokens. Sure, 10 year olds would pout and complain and call you a cheater but every person who was a die hard, and there used to be many of us, we we're on pretty equal footing with the top player. You guys took the challenge out of the game and removed the need for communication and teamwork. We used to play for days on end, and there used to be enough of us for there to always be people online to play with. Since the update, we all quit. Though sometimes I do go back and try to play it for the nostalgia but I've waited up to 20 minutes in the lobby multiple times, and no one ever seems to be online. You guys catered to the complaints of children and pre-teens who were mad that they weren't as good as the top players after their first game.
If you guys undid the update and gave back the reapers unlimited flings, I would change my rating from a 1 to a 5, and I would start playing daily.
Inverse used to be my favorite game, and I frequently think about how much I miss playing it.
Kind of stings.
