If you're a cricket fan and love virtual reality, IB Cricket is an absolute must-try. It brilliantly brings the excitement of batting into the world of VR, making you feel like you're standing on a real cricket pitch. The physics are remarkably realistic, the stadiums are well-designed, and the bat-ball interaction feels natural and intuitive.
One of the best things about IB Cricket is how accessible it is for everyone—whether you're a casual fan or a serious player, the game adjusts to your skill level, keeping it fun and competitive. You can play solo to practice or challenge friends in multiplayer mode, which adds to the thrill.
The motion tracking is excellent, and the commentary and crowd sounds give it an authentic stadium-like feel. It’s also a great workout—you’ll be surprised how much you move while playing!
Pros:
Realistic gameplay and ball physics
Immersive stadium environment
Intuitive controls
Multiplayer mode is super fun
Great for all age groups
Cons:
Requires a bit of space for full motion play
Can take some time to adjust to VR if you’re new
Overall, IB Cricket is a groundbreaking game that redefines how cricket can be played. It's not just a game—it's an experience that brings your cricketing dreams to life. Highly recommended for sports and VR enthusiasts alike!
Need a feature in Quick Matches that allows the batsman to chase a target score (based on the condition of the match, the AI can create a probable target score).
For me this is the only reason I own oculus quest 3. I get some workout done too because I use real bat attached to the controller.
Thank you to developer team, for creating new stadiums during each update!
I really love this game overall — it's well made and fun to play. But I do have a suggestion that I hope you'll consider. I would love to see an offline tournament mode, similar to IPL, BBL, etc., with the latest squads and players included.
It would be amazing to have different difficulty levels like Easy, Medium, and Hard, where we can choose a team and play through the full tournament — including the points table, playoffs, semi-finals, and finals.
This would make the experience feel much more realistic and immersive for cricket fans like me. I genuinely hope you consider adding this feature — I want it so badly! Thank you!
Great game to play in vr
Only problem I find that could be improved is when your updating the bat tracking you just put the bat there and there is no guidance on how to actually improve the bat tracking.
Better or more
Game modes would be great
Maybe test matches too
But overall quality game to play
I have been playing this game regularly for over a year now, absolutely love the experience. However, the recent updates have made the experience a bit boring but there’s always room for improvement and I hope IB cricket fixes these issues 1: esp on green pitches the amount of swing the bowlers generate is a bit too much which is fair but the ball never stops swinging even in the last over of the game. 2: with recent updates I have realised the bowlers are bowling at exceptionally high rate of yorkers and yorker length deliveries which they didn’t before and to be honest it kinda makes the game boring and highly predictable I hope they try to fix it.
