I typically love escape room games, I love puzzle games and I enjoy spy games, but this game often rips the fun from its puzzles by adding an overused 'die and retry' mechanic and timed memory puzzles. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot to like about this game. The theme, storytelling and voice acting are top notch. But so much of this is based on dying over and over to learn the proper sequence and having things ready before the triggered event occurs. Dying over and over is a cheap method that developers often use to give the illusion of content. Why make more content when you can just have the player re-hash over the same stuff? Plus this game WILL give you a sore neck from having to twist your head WAY over to see behind you. You cannot pivot or move your character and must rely on getting off your seat to twist around. This game could of been so much more...
Wow! I was satisfied with what I paid just with the opening credits. Amazing. But the game is insanely fun and addictive. I had some friends over and let them try and I’m pretty sure they’ll be getting a quest nuts to play this game. A million stars!
I expect you to die, is something that I thought was going to be a boring game until I downloaded it, the game is phenomenal. The level design is great, you can tell they took their time in it. The voice acting is some of the best in a VR game that I have seen in a while, and I play a lot of VR games. I have played all of the three I expect you to die, and am ready for a 4th. I loved all the games, and have almost 100% it all, just missing some souvenirs, but overall my favorite VR game series ever. The second one is my favorite but I loved them all, thank you to the developers for making such a great game!
I loved the game highly recommend
I Expect you to die, 100% Review!
This game is phenomenal the story and the voice acting are amazing the visuals for it being a 2016-2021 game are mind blowing , as a puzzle game it does everything correctly showing not telling , the achievements are fun and the jokes are witty and land every time!
Some souvenirs are a little buggy but that can be overlooked regardless I highly recommend this game , easy and fun to understand and youll have a blast!
Fantastic problem solving game, highly recommend. 10/10. I have 1,2&3. I haven’t finished the third one yet but hoping they bring more out..
