In 1977, humanity sent a message into the stars.

Aboard the Voyager I and II probes traveled the Golden Record: a time capsule of sounds, music, and images, created under the guidance of astronomer Carl Sagan to tell the story of Earth to anyone who might one day find it. Nearly fifty years later, the probes are still traveling. HUMAN XR invites you to travel with them.

Blending mixed reality and fully immersive scenes, this 15-minute experience takes you from your own room into intergalactic space. Reach out and touch the Golden Record, uncover hidden messages about Earth and humanity, and meet a mysterious being who shares a profound message about our place in the cosmos and on our pale blue dot.

Festivals and awards

Written and directed by Brazilian artist Débora Bergamini, HUMAN XR has been featured at more than 20 festivals and has received awards in Germany and the United States.
