I was looking for precisely what this game offers - the ability to walk around my apartment and experience another world. This style of MR is still hard to find, but this dev has implemented it super well. It works just like it says on the tin. The coolest thing for me is seeing across your whole home without walls getting in the way. This dev’s other work follows the same premise, although this is the only one with the excellent manual mapping wizard. Maybe future updates to the others will let you import your map?
My only wish is that these games had a bit more depth to them. A base building wave/prep gameplay loop a la Bloons or PvZ would be nice. Or maybe a richer upgrade scheme. Or a few puzzle elements. Lots of things could work - I just want more details to make me want to stay in the world. Wave survival like this is a game mode that always ends in failure, and i’d like to be able to enjoy the room scale setup in a slightly more satisfying way
update: Hi developers, in this latest update you have included Meta's room tracking but you have completely eliminated your tracking system which in my opinion was still great! and in my opinion it is worth keeping both of them in the game, letting the player choose which of the two systems to use! do you know why? because with your tracking in addition to being immediate and quite simple, it has the advantage of being able to manage things a bit as you want, so for example add obstacles even where there aren't any to create a more particular map, something you can't do with Meta's room tracking. so I recommend keeping both of them.
Update:
I like the new update. the game did a good job with the virtualization of real furniture.
do you have a Discord server where you can provide feedback, debugging, and ideas?
I would like to be able to choose different hands and not always have skeleton hands. furthermore, once they are inside I would like to be able to punch them again, and defend myself as much as possible, I would also like to be able to grab them by the arm and throw them away (the lighter ones obviously)
in addition to reloading the gun with a button I would like to have a reload in which I make a movement with my arm.
while regarding the fence, have you also tried to make the player do a sort of movement with the simulated hammer? instead of moving it left and right up and down also that the player should give virtual hammers?
It's good that Meta's room tracking is not used, so the user can decide independently to create different shapes.
After making the boundaries of the room you can choose to make furniture boundaries larger or that add other shapes that are not there while maintaining the furniture boundaries of the room
I tried it yesterday and the fact that you can create different shapes when setting up the room improves the experience while playing
Tell me...why is my game not updating? Why can't I go online and make a room? It's sad (the game is awesome...I can't play.
I wish we could have 2 guns, more time or a faster way to fix those fences. It’s fun, but limited.
Impressive
Fun but the fence fixing takes far too long in comparison to how quickly enemies destroy it. Also would be better with weapon upgrades as you progress through levels. Also the room scaling could be more practical
