The environment, the torch light, the AI, and the concept of the Heart Lung Machines were all executed amazingly, especially considering the limited hardware power of the Quest. Hope the developer has more in their catalogue!
This game is so scary, couldn’t even get past the first 6 minutes, my brother played it and even he got scared from just seeing the monster. But when I wanted to get my mom to play she was kind of confused, she had never used a vr before, so if you could add a small tutorial board that would help a lot. But this would be way more fun and more scary if there was multiplayer, but first there would need to be a full player model, maybe adding a voice chat featurewhere it would echo and count as making noise. All these things would be very cool for this game and I hope they are in the next update!
I can't say to much because I'm tooto scared to play this game .😄
But how I feel about this game is that it deserves 5 stars
Real scary atmosphere, I agree with
A comment saying it would be better to hear scuffing of your feet, or heavy breathing ?
Would add to atmosphere.
Great game !!
I cant get 3 seconds without the app closing. Is this Quest 3 only and am I alone on this?
It's really scary, even though I'm only at level 1. It would need some optimization to run at decent FPS at a higher resolution than native. The low resolution causes noticeable pixelation and rough edges throughout the visuals. Quest Games Optimizer can do it, but once the resolution goes above 2000 pixels, the framerate starts to drop. I'm looking forward to further development and updates. Fingers crossed.
First of all I will say the developer gave me the game to review and make content for BUT my honest opinion:
The environment is beautifully done, the mechanics work very well, the story is well told through the cassette players, the voice acting is quite good (As a voice actor I'm actually impressed) and I love the biomechanical creature theming.
Why it doesn't get a full 5 star rating is that I didn't actually get scared lol although pretty d°°° intense I didn't feel a personal sense of dread and unease. Maybe the death jumpscare could be varied or cranked up to 11 lol.
Still well worth the price point and has excellent replay value.
