- Explore a snowy mountain valley on a hang glider.
- A relaxing flight through this stunning landscape with frozen lakes and forests.
- Use boost rings and thermals for a longer flight.
- Try to find a mysterious crash site.

Three control modes:
- Hanging: Just like in a real hang glider, use your body to control the flight.
- Lying: Use the movement of your hands to control the flight.
- Sitting: Use the combined movements of your body and hands to control the flight.

Safety (Hanging control mode):
- Do not use open hooks, lateral movements can cause the rig to come loose from the hook, use carabiners instead.
- Do not use chairs with wheels, a wheel could lock sideways and overturn the chair.
- Do not use improvised or poorly fixed bars.
- Wrap the bar with foam and use a mattress below your body.
- Never use handrails in high places as a bar.
- It is recommended that you always have someone close to help in any situation.

This project was developed from the classic Unreal Landscape Mountains Showcase.

Hi, thanks for your feedback, you need to keep your body in a centered position during the countdown. The calibration is done dynamically at this point to avoid having to recalibrate again if a person of different height starts playing, it also avoids you going through a calibration process every time you start the app. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the movement (through the bar in the top right corner) until you become more familiar with the movements.

Amazing for a standalone headset!

This sim is brilliant!
The graphics are crisp, the sim runs smoothly without dropping the frame rate. There is a lot going on in this sim
Example:

When you fly over the frozen lake, there is an increased air sink effect, and over dry land you will find thermals which you can climb to gain height, beware though, just outside the thermal there is increased air sink, so better fly over that quickly.

There is no speedometer so you have to listen to the wind rush, when you're about to stall you'll hear the wings flapping, fly too fast and you'll lose control.

Please Note: before launching this sim you need to throw away your controllers and launch the sim using hand tracking otherwise you will not be able to use the sim. If you want to exit out of the sim, just tap twice on your headset!

I just wanted to congratulate the developer for making a brilliant sim! I hope the developer can push the graphics even further on the Meta Quest 3 headset and give us more colors like blue skies, greener landscapes and blue water, however the map is really interesting and beautiful as is, with lots of interesting area's to investigate and fly over end bridges to fly under.

Brilliant sim, five stars from me!

Very nice experience

The graphics are nice very and the framerate is smooth. I have no experience of hang gliders in real life but have used them in Microsoft Flight Sim years ago. The controls are intuitive even for a beginner. The correct flight input method must be selected if you are just sitting in a chair like me, it is the option on the right labelled experimental, otherwise you will just crash and think the game is too hard or buggy which it definitely is not. Great price too, well done to the dev!

Thank you! In the next update there will be a more appropriate mode for playing seated, using the combination of hand and body position.

update:
a good hang glider control system with hand tracking, although still at an experimental level, works quite well. Thanks for your hard work dev!

hi developer! i send you an e-mail!🙂

update: I am very satisfied with this app, I also love the physics, I also like the way it stalls, even if it is different in the stall reaction from a real hang glider I must say that I like it all the same, in fact I enjoy it more for that too !

of course I would also have liked to have the possibility of landing in certain places as a secondary objective, but at the moment that's okay. the framerate is excellent, the graphics as well, it's difficult to ask for more, I'm only sorry that few people really understand how beautiful it is, because until you learn to stay up and continue flying and do some stunts you don't have fun, especially those who suffer from motion sickness. tip for newbies: make very very small body swings if you maximize the steering sensitivity.

it's quite good as a hang gliding simulator, a good mix between simulator and arcade. it would be great to try with a swing (feet off the ground, you must be able to swing freely) and a fixed bar to grasp with your hands to simulate the hang gliding bar and allow for swings, it would be equally immersive even when seated (instead of lying down) As a motor hang glider pilot I can say that it is quite good, also in terms of graphics

Does not work for me either

Took batteries out of controllers. Still no hands show up. I wanted this to be cool. Graphics look interesting. But you gotta let people be able to play no matter what configuration. It can't be so picky, or worse just never even work at all.

Hi, you need to enable hand tracking in the Quest settings:

(Settings > Movement Settings)

- Hand and body tracking [Enabled]

- Auto Switch from Controllers to Hands [Enabled]

Does not work I can see the tablet above the bar but my hands when they appear they just dissappear I have installed and reinstalled but still the same how do I make my hands come on and stay on

Hi Charles, this experience does not support controllers, only hand tracking, if you use controllers your hands will disappear. You can access the instructions by touching the "?" button in the main menu(tablet).
You will find a screen with a description of the function of each menu button, as well as flight control instructions and instructions on how to pause the game and return to the menu.
The constant crashes are due to you not maintaining the hang glider's center of gravity, just like in a real hang glider you use your body to control the flight. It is important that you are standing in the position you intend to play when you re-center using the purple button. To control use the following movements: tilt forward to dive and accelerate, backwards to rise and slow down and tilt sideways to turn. If you are experiencing any other problem, please contact me by email, it will be easier to support you in resolving it. (MyrtusXR@gmail.com). Thanks.
