There was another review. I read from six days ago before I posted this one, and simply they said if they would’ve gotten this game first, then that’s all they needed.
Well, I can now see why they say that after playing this game for a couple of days! Lots of fun and well done by the developers!
Campaign mode:
This gets your feet wet and you learn how to play the game going through those 12 missions, and if you add the Li’l training module on top of it, then 13 total.
Just started playing the multiplayer missions where you’re fighting side-by-side with comrades , and I must say that is also a lot of fun.
Game runs pretty smooth, and I haven’t had any crashes or concerns with bugs (pun intended) so far .
If you’re reading this, all I can say is get this game .
UPDATE 11/27/2025
It's embarrassing.
So it's come down to this...since we started playing this game; we haven't played any of the dozens and dozens and dozens of other VR games, or any other platform games such as Switch, Xbox, computer, etc.
That's just embarrassing right? This game is quite literally that much fun. We could have saved a lot of money if we had found this game first. 😄😄
Other insights:
The community is awesome.
The maps keep expanding in range and difficulty.
There's new challenges being coded by the devs every few months.
The map makers are very responsive.
The devs are very responsive.
The game is massive.
Although you'll win some conquests, you will never reach the end.
UPDATE 9/7/2024 Since purchase, we've each logged around 250 hours of playtime on this game. It's the only game we play now. It's worth every penny! The player-contributed maps are phenomenal and add a whole new dimension to the game--making it a positively massive game that is constantly evolving.
You will not be mad that you bought this game. It's amazing.
Appreciate using teleport in a tactical shooter. Husband and I've logged too many hours in the first week. The graphics are rather good. You can progressively set the levels you want to attack in each chapter. You can level up weapons, outfits, rank, etc.
With the player maps, this game lasts forever!
Update 8/1/24
Y'all. Just get the game. Be prepared for an intervention. It's addictive AF!
Amazing game! I had vr (with all of the top selling games) for a couple of years. I barely played--mostly just used the virtual movie theater occasionally. But after finding this game (and Arizona sunshine remake) I play daily...I also don't like multiplayer games, but sometimes seeing people join your game just when you need help is great... And the endless maps make this game continually worth it. Highly recommended.
5* and here's why. "Think of the movie Starship troopers" The game alone is great! It runs extremely good on Quest 3 "no motion sickness" its a fun campaign that will suck you in again and again full of a ton of different alien enemies...although it's short it's totally re-playable. There's so many weapons and upgrades you can unlock including mechs, cannons & drones. Then we have multi-player and thats where this game gets really intense and the community of players and maps are very cool & abundant. If you are looking for a good VR shooter thats a mix of Halo and Starship-troopers you found it! 5*
Hopefully the devs keep up the great work 👍
May I suggest the following?
New weapons "maybe a workshop" to build onto the basic weapons you get would be cool... like change plasma colors, or gold plated guns or even a custom paint the weapon option would be really cool.
A custom avatar maker "or more avatar heads" personal request "Grey alien 👽"
Last request would be a co-op map called moon base and make earth in the heavens showing a mass alien invasion happening and make the mission conquer the alien armada and destroy their warp gate "shoot down a highly guarded tower/towers surrounded by the aliens" 🤪 would be rad!!! You guys rock!
It’s good but the campaign missions so far are all the same
This game is pretty good overall but entity collisions. I swear they spent 5 minutes on entity. Collisions and also properly asked AI to make it. I can do a better job with entity collisions and I haven't spent much time coding.
