Néctar Filmes presents GS1 VR, an immersive advergame created for GS1 Brasil. Developed as a strategic tool for trade shows and corporate events, the experience highlights how virtual reality can communicate technological benefits in an engaging and accessible way.
Set in a futuristic supermarket checkout, players collect colorless virtual packages and enhance them by applying digital “benefits” represented as interactive cubes. As each package is transformed, it becomes colorful and gains value, illustrating the advantages provided by QR Codes on packaging.
The experience culminates with players placing the upgraded packages into GS1’s mascot robot. Completing the challenge within the allotted time rewards players with eligibility for prize drawings, increasing engagement and leaving a memorable impression.
GS1 VR demonstrates the power of VR to translate complex concepts into interactive storytelling. By combining gamification and immersive design, the project showcases how companies can effectively educate and connect with their audience.
