Satisfying mixed reality puzzle

GridTsugi impresses as a mixed-reality puzzle for the Meta Quest with precise mechanics and high quality. The bridge-building puzzles between floating islands are logically structured, demanding concentration without unnecessary complexity – ideal for short sessions or longer puzzling. In passthrough mode, it integrates seamlessly into real space, enhancing immersion and making controls intuitive, even with hand tracking.
The hand-drawn graphics run smoothly without lag, and the levels offer enough variants for replay value. I see potential for expansions, but it's already a highlight among cozy VR titles. The developers have delivered something technically clean that provides fun and stimulates the brain. Five stars for a game that keeps its promises. 👍

Very relaxing brain training 🙂

GridTsugi is a fantastic mix of relaxing atmosphere and clever puzzling that's rare in VR. The hand-painted islands look truly charming, and the option to play in mixed-reality mode is a real highlight – it feels super natural building bridges right on the coffee table. Even though I haven't completed all the levels yet, the puzzle design is just fun without ever getting frustrating. The intuitive controls and lovingly crafted visuals make you want to come back again and again. For anyone who enjoys calm but challenging VR games, GridTsugi is definitely a must-play. It creates a cozy, almost meditative vibe that's perfect for unwinding after a long day. Five stars because it gives me that special feel-good experience as a player while also engaging my brain.

An unexpected mental challenge

The game is quite fun, especially if you enjoy the way mental challenges like Sudoku try to break your brain while you evaluate different numerical combinations. I know it sounds strange, but that’s the closest feeling I can compare it to. And while it may seem easy and simple at first, the truth is that as you progress, it becomes quite difficult — it stops being trivial and really makes you think seriously about the possible combinations. That said, it does have some things to improve in terms of interface and gameplay, but if you like mentally demanding games, I dare say this is a great recommendation. In terms of challenge and overall feeling, I’d give it 5 stars, even if it loses a bit in some technical aspects.
