I had hope for the game, so just bought it since it's so low priced.
The issue became immediately apparent in how the game does player positioning..
I'm literally 2 feet shorter in-game than in real life or any other VR game (my floor levels are correct), leaving me tobeithervredo my boundary's floor level to being 2 foot lower than normal EVERY time I play this or to play in Seated mode... where the new issue is the floor or anything you stand over moves as you do, so looking over a desk and moving your head in closer makes the entire room move down away from you. The exact same if you try to physically crouch, making the crouch button 100% necessary.
This becomes an annoying issue if you drop an item on the floor, as it is harder than I'd like to grab it half the time.
So either way the game is unbearably annoying to play...
I'd actually say interactions in general feel a bit odd, but nothing too bad there either I guess.
Another annoyance is the lead character not being voiced and having to read his thoughts/ dialogue popping up on screen, but that's my personal issue due to my very limited vision not being able to view the entire line of text because it moves with your head, ensuring I'm missing 30% of what's being said (STOP DOING THIS VR DEVELOPERS!)..
I also hate any game that only has the option for snap turning because god forbid one puts 5 more minutes of work into developing their game...
This game is seemingly never getting updated either, so even at it's budget price it's a waste of money. As I'm sure it's extremely short and lacking in content ascwell (not that it isn't priced well for that).
Devs, you could easily get away with charging a bit more money for your game if you'd actually polish, update, and add to it!...
As is, save your few dollars people.
This is not the best escape room app. I chose it only because I have already solved all of the great ones out there; House of DaVinci, The 7th Guest, Down the Rabbit Hole, etc. This one does not stand up to others. You get what you paid for. The most frustrating part is that if something falls to the floor you can not get it. There is not a grab feature from above and if you bend down to get it you leave the play area. I have had to keep logging out and restarting puzzles just to try and reset the game. Even then I am stuck in a room because even after leaving the item I need is unreachable. Very frustrating. The developers really need to update their program.
This is not a game for those who have ever done escape rooms, there are 4 rooms with 2 to 3 puzzles in each and the hints in the inventory section are there all the time (which personally I found annoying). Probably great for someone new to the layout of escape rooms but not anyone who has ever done one. I was disappointed as complete it in able 90 minutes in total.
I got stuck and wasnt smart enough to get past the third room or so. There is a distinctive lack of object interactivity and performance for the graphical quality is moderate to slightly above average. Ideally, you'll buy this game for 75 cents on Steam a year or so from now.
