T his VR fighter game is so much fun. I never played GORN 1 I just went to GORN 2. I just wanted to play for like a half hour to kill some time before an appointment I had and spent an hour and a half on it and missed my appointment, lol. Now this VR fighter is on the cartoony side yes it's not realistic like say Gladius but that's ok the graphics are Amazing even though it's on the cartoony side. Dev's I joined the mods and keep the updates coming, Robert W. BrooklyNite74.
I thought that this was the best vr games could become but then these cheeky mothertuckers added a mod update and now I can't stop messing around with lightsabers. I love the game.
Possible game of the year material. VR needs more whacky games like this. 👨🍳 Line cook approved. 👍 Hoping for some multiplayer modes in the future.
You would think since the game is so short that they would put at least a tiny bit of effort into the endless mode, but you could not be any further from the truth. Game itself is alright, better than the first Gorn in almost every way except it’s too short and no more Caestus. But, the Bekivu mode actually has to be the worst experience I have ever had playing a VR game. I have no clue who was delusional enough to tell the developers that the hit registration on the player was good enough to introduce a game mode where you can’t get “hit” more than once, but I am begging the developers to never even consider their feedback ever again. Literally 99% of the time I get hit in Bekivu, the enemy either didn’t swing but their weapon grazed me, hit through my parry or shield, somehow hits me from beyond the grave, enemy resists a stun. 1% of the time if I’m extremely lucky, then I’ll die from a legitimate arrow/pebble in the back or because I was surrounded. Playing the Bekivu game mode was genuinely enough for me to completely forget about all the good parts about the game just because of how laughably terrible it is. It turns the endless game mode from almost impossible to lose in to almost completely luck-based and impossible to have fun in unless you’re an archer with 100% accuracy, even then you have to be lucky enough for an enemy to come with a bow before you get completely obliterated from a single hair on your arm coming in contact with a single pixel of the enemy’s weapon, even if they didn’t even swing it or said enemy is literally DEAD🤦♂️I honestly wish I was exaggerating how terrible Bekivu is but I’m afraid that I honestly might be understating it. Honestly liked the game at first but Bekivu completely turned me off from it, I don’t see how there could possibly be an excuse for releasing a game mode that is extremely dependent on the game’s hit registration system whenever it (hopefully) isn’t complete. Please, I am begging for the developers to at the very least try and fix the hit registration before they add something like this and even lock content behind having to play such an incomplete mode. The game would probably be a 5 stars for me if Bekivu didn’t exist because I truly enjoyed it outside of that but I would be lying to myself if I rated this anything else other than 1 stars while the Bekivu game mode unironically exists and is required in order to unlock everything in the game. The only positive things I have to say about Bekivu is the fact it’s sort of optional and that if the developers were genuinely going for making one of the worst VR experiences of all time (which I kinda hope that was the goal or else I’m not sure what is) then they definitely succeeded! Seriously wish I never wasted my $20 for this sorry excuse of a sequel.
I enjoy that its a bit harder than the original, and the new art style grew on me a lot. if I had any critiques I'll say the grab walking feels a little stiff, and that the story is quite short. I wouldnt be opposed to buying a few dlc with 2-3 maps each should they release any for this game.
ps: PLEASE make axes stick into the rokibe like how swords do
It is just an amazing game
