First, the controller bouncing and knocking typically means the headset isn’t keeping solid line-of-sight to the controller. To improve tracking accuracy:

- Clothing: Avoid baggy sleeves or loose fabric that can block the headset’s cameras.
- Camera Maintenance: Wipe your headset’s cameras clean of dust or smudges before you play.
- Lighting Conditions: Play in a brightly and evenly lit room—no strong shadows or direct sunlight.
- Obstructions: Clear your play area of cables or other obstacles that might occlude the controller.
- Controller Placement: Keep the controller’s face (the part with LEDs or sensors) visible—don’t cover it fully with your hand.

As for the wildly inconsistent putting surfaces, you can simulate slower greens by lowering the putter max speed:

- From the main menu, tap the gear icon in the top-left corner to open Settings.
- Go to Controllers / Attachment Configuration.
- Select Set Club Speed—you’ll see a slider beneath the club-selection list.
- Start setting putter speed at around 80%, then test a few putts and tweak up or down until each light tap sends the ball the same distance.

- Open Settings (gear icon at the top right).
- Go to CONTROLLERS / ATTACHMENT CONFIGURATION.
- Under GOLF ATTACHMENT CONFIGURATION, click “CHOOSE.”
- For Quest 3 attachments, select the “90 DEGREE” preset. (Tip: when you pick that option, your laser beam rotates 90°, so just turn your controller 90° and hit “YES.”)
- For Quest 2 attachments, pick “STANDARD.”

That’s it—you’ll see your club perfectly aligned. Give it another try and let us know how it goes! We appreciate you helping us make the game better.
