I won’t compare to other boxing games. From my perspective as someone who is trying to get in shape, this app is what I was looking for. The mechanics for slips, rolls, and head movement is impressive. I enjoy this as a tool for shadow boxing and working on defensive movement. It’s helping me with my reflexes and coordination, the opponent isn’t spamming me, appear to be throwing real combos. It’s helping my snap my punches back to cover too. Yes I’m getting hit, but I’m practicing defense which I can’t do unless I have a coach or sparring partner. I can’t always hit my bag in the garage; so this is perfect for late night workouts. Pads are cool but I wish it would allow for missed punches without failing me.
True facts never lie, i am someone who is training to lose weight.
And im really hard trying to do it with VR and supplements, ive made a instagram channel, vr.fitwith.crownjax and everything is there as proof
The game is really fun in the beginning, after an hour or so the game becomes very repetitive, targets keep coming at you, and since when do you turn around with a stick in a sport.?
Compared to Thrill of the fight 1 this game is nothing, the game has less physics, i mean when you fight and you hit the enemies head, it really looks like you hit a balloon instead of like a real punch effect.
Next to it there is a plus, you have the same options as THRILL of the fight in training mode+ additional where targets rush you and you have to hit them with right or left, but that evenly has the same pattern kver and over and over again.
I cant compare it to totf, but what i really disliked is the target speed what really pisses me off cause you cant set it to constantly hitting targets max 8-10 targets in rush and then you brake for 3 seconds
Also since when do you turn with your thumbstick.? Atleast give an option to toggle it off for those who dont like it.?
Imagine your hitting boxes and boom you touch your stick by accident, midfight you miss all those rushing targets and your out...
Conclusion:
Buy this game ONLY if you have to much money, but thrill of the fight has better physics and better understanding that you are boxing it does feel and look better as well
This game has helped me so much with my boxing
The gameplay is great and the boxers are more dynamic that TOTF, however the punches seem to land even though you've blocked or slipped a punch
this is a good boxing game and its pretty realistic in its movements....however ( and hopefully one of the devs will reply ) i cant seem to inflict as much damage as the AI opponent im boxing against ? so i can out point them and hit them more but rthey inflict way more damage on the scorecard ? am i doing something wrong.....? please advise ?
other than that , great game and after a weights workout at the real gym i often put this on for a 30 mnute cardio session....it really tires you out
This is not a game. It's a training simulator
for boxers. The mitt work is genius, and the bag mechanics are so genuine as well as the sparring.
