This has become my go to. One of my favorite games ever. It's so much better than haters are saying. Where else can you go skiing down a Mountain while it explodes and while you have to control your skiing and shoot the enemies and climb up a train wreck in the first 5 minutes of the game!?!? It's so bad@ss!
No thought has gone into this game at all, you don't even have a health meter. You just run around shooting everything until you find where you are actually meant to go. Such a shame because it could have been a fun game, instead it's just a bit frustrating and doesn't make me want to continue playing at all.
There are lots of free games with better story, graphics and game mechanics. Its worth about $5 for the 20mins of gameplay I got from it
Wanted to play it on PSVR when it came out but my dog(was a puppy at the time)chewed through my headset cable before I got around to it. It is a bit dated now but still holds up as a good game. I love the way you grab window seals and railing with one hand to take cover. Being able to pop out from the top or side from cover feels really cool. The special weapons are awesome though I wish they lasted a bit longer. The fact it throws in climbing parts and skiing it’s helps break up the shootouts and adds a bit more variety. The story isn’t anything to right home about but it is there so at least gives you the sense of getting something accomplished. The only thing I don’t like is it only takes around 3 hours to complete the game. I can’t complain,I bought it on sale for a little over $10. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who is okay with the 3 hour story. I did have a lot of fun in that short time
I can't play this game anymore even though I absolutely love it because the save system sends you straight back to the beginning of the level no matter how far you get in it unlike other games which save your current progress by checkpoints this has made the gaming experience completely awful. I hope it can be remedied as i love the game
A VR first-person shooter that was considered as one of the more popular third part titles for PSVR2, now on Meta Quest! Trying the game out in 2024 makes it feel incredibly dated. I will start by saying that if you are a new or returning VR player, you should definitely acclimate yourself to the headset before playing. There are various gameplay styles that include skiing (with head tilting as steering), climbing, shooting (duh) and puzzles.
I can say with full confidence that when the game starts, you are not calibrated whatsoever. So you will experience one of the most nauseating experiences ever as you tumble away while stationary on your skis. Fix this by holding the Meta button down to calibrate. I wish the game ensured you were calibrated before starting. Otherwise, the levels are fairly simple with some puzzles thrown here and there, with very limited guns. The writing is atrocious but in a "corny 80s action movie" kind of vibe, and there are plenty of puns with the word "frack".
There's some obvious political undertones about environment preservation (with a southern accent protagonist of course), but nothing really grips you enough to care about the various characters in the game. That, combined with limited enemy variation and a disappointing final boss make the game worth trying on sale at best. If the game is full price, it's a no go.
