After the tutorial I was excited to see they asked for my height (which is 6’2) because all the contraptions seems very low. Sadly nothing visually or in gameplay changed after entering my height. Any action that required squatting down was never enough for the system. The shield and racket games I couldn’t get low enough for it to register. The skiing also was near impossible as it wanted me to go further than I could. Please add adjustments for tall people where getting down so low isn’t a requirement.
It kicked my butt! And I loved it!
This game gives you direct, clear instructions, with video examples.
Definitely worth the money (which is surprisingly low priced.
This is working really well for me because I need a distraction from the fact I'm working out haha!
This is a really cool app, especially for the price and I don't really understand why anyone is complaining about it.
I would love to play this game more, but it requires a stable Internet connection, which can be a challenge in my area where the Internet connection isn't very reliable, It would be nice if you had an offline mode, so I could play the game without worrying about an internet connection.
I have tried almost all the stand-alone fitness apps (no subscription) and this app is one of the best. It incorporates some activities such as paddling and rope swing, which I haven't seen in other apps. I still think Les Mills is the best stand-alone app in the Quest store, but this one comes very close - one thing I would love is if it has hand-tracking and allows us to use weights or resistance bands when doing exercises such as biceps curl and sky press. The boxing sequence gets monotonous and doesn't register sometimes. The boss levels are definitely tiring but can get a bit repetitive. The blue host is a bit childish but not a deal breaker. The points system and leaderboard could be improved to motivate us better. I hope the developer keeps working on this to make it the number one fitness app!
It's a good game that leaves me really sweaty but the number one issue i have is the rope swing, every single time i drop from 1st to last even though i'm hitting every orb at max power, i don't understand what i could be doing wrong? I saw someone else say the same in a review and the developer responded but didn't address why. Also the hit detection in the boxing is pretty bad, i don't like the ones where you have to hit two at the same time above your head, doesn't register half the time. And a proper leaderboard would be nice rather than just a few other players scores that you can only view while playing
