This is a brilliantly crafted racer that really pushes the hardware to its limits. The tracks are well-designed and varied, offering plenty of visual interest and challenges. The racing itself feels great—fast, engaging, and just difficult enough to keep you coming back. The menu design is sleek, and the soundtrack perfectly complements the game’s style.
That said, once you’ve unlocked all the levels and maxed out your car, there’s not much left to strive for. It would have been great to see features like driving-impact damage that affects performance, or fun little twists—like animals crossing the track, where hitting them could cost or earn you points, or tire-spike hazards to shake things up. Small dynamic elements like these could really bring the game world to life.
There’s also some roughness in the customisation system. While you can buy cosmetic upgrades like new colours, they either don’t appear during races or sometimes vanish completely after exiting the menu—while still charging your in-game currency. That’s a frustrating bug that definitely needs fixing.
The driving physics are another mixed bag. The handling starts off extremely slippery—almost uncontrollable at times. It does improve once your car is fully upgraded, but even then, it remains overly loose for a game that otherwise feels so polished.
Everytime I got on this game nobody was even playing online. I was expecting more online lobbies in this game.
I just flipped like 3 times and landed on my roof then after i respawned i fell off a cliff 10/10 would reccomend
As if this game wasn't fun enough in its original racing form....they just introduced a new combat zone.....anyone remember Unreal Tournament?....Yes.....it's Unreal Tournament in an Exocar! DUUUUDE AWESOME
Me and 2 friends just bought this game, it's difficult but plays well and looks great. The only problem is we our cars are different speeds. When we leave the line my car does like 100kph the next player 70kph and the last 50kph. Hope I've explained that well, if we do a drag race I just leave them behind through no fault of their own.
If this could be fixed it would be 4 or 5 stars.
If developers are reading....
This is in private room.
It doesn't matter who is hosting, ie hoster doesn't necessarily get faster car.
I am on quest 3, they are on quest 2, I have been consistently faster, but doesn't explain the speed difference between them two.
Hope you can fix, If so i will change my review.
I have to ask to developers what are you doing this game was perfect when it first came out didn't need any tweaking or anything now the speed is super slow it looks pixally and jacket on the environment if it ain't broke don't fix it otherwise you will break it as you have done I'm disappointed that this game is going backwards getting uglier and becoming worse damaged with each update can you please restore it to its original state of first release everything was perfect but now it seems like I'm playing a low budget driving game yes I said driving not racing because it's too slow now and everything seems to be ruined it was perfect during release but some people complain I guess they want the car in the living room so you make patches only to break or damage the good things about the game this was one of my favorites I played it so much now it's very hard for me to stay in tune with it because I know what it was versus what it is now and this is not the same game I feel duped like after you get all the money you lower the graphics or slow the game down and make changes to the pixels or environment that it may be a lower grade game not cool please fix it please restore it back to the natural State regardless of what most complainers complain about there was nothing wrong with this game at all I understand you want to add new features but sometimes that damages the whole experience the speed is too slow now I don't feel like I'm racing I feel like I'm on a slow driving simulation game of what could have been when it already was great I'm only giving three stars because I know what it was and what it is now until it's restored or when it's restored I would gladly not only refer others to buy it but give you those five stars would have giving you 10 if I could but after taking a small break and coming back seeing the massive changes that are not for the best I can only give three at this point seriously no disrespect just being honest please do better the VR community is depending on it
