In the not-so-distant past, a couple on the verge of divorce lived in a small house with their daughter, Raha. Growing tension filled the home with fear. One parent—the one the player embodies—left temporarily to “clear their mind,” while the other, overwhelmed, often left Maryam alone.

An unnoticed gas leak slowly filled the old house. maryam, scared but trying to occupy herself, became drowsy and peacefully passed away in her sleep.

When the parent returned days later, the tragedy shattered their psyche. Consumed by guilt, their mind created an alternate reality in which they are just an investigator searching for clues about a mysterious child’s death.

Years later, lost in this constructed mental space, they enter a shifting version of the house—unaware that the child they’re investigating is their own, and the house is the place where everything fell apart.
