Great Game For Two (no single player)

This is a great game for two challenging you to work as a team with another person. It is fun engaging and sometimes frustrating experience but when you get through that next steps you will truly feel like you accomplished something. Highly recommended !

Bad attitude devs forgot about app part

Really dissapointed in this game. The trailer put this game as a collaborative experience but it's more you figure out your part, wait for your partner to figure out theirs. Rinse and repeat...

We didn't get very far as the app is incredibly non-intuitive. As the vr user, I just sat in the dark for 30minutes while my phone partner pressed random buttons hoping to get any progress. There was also huuugeee desync issues and wouldn't communicate with the vr game. we had to reload the game to get the game to accept the app inputs.

Extremely frustrating boring puzzles and the devs rotten responses to valid critiscm puts a nasty taste in your mouth. Buyers beware, it's not worth it.

Thanks for this feedback. We've tried to stress that this game is 'challenging' and 'requires teamwork', but it's valuable for players to hear that it can be frustrating. It's valid criticism that the interface is non-intuitive, but understanding the systems is part of the puzzle game right from the beginning. Pressing random buttons is not recommended, but experimentation early on is key - each button has a purpose and may only present through the other player's POV.

As always, our Discord is open to log any issues you may be experiencing (technical or for gameplay tips): https://discord.gg/BXFaeZhkjr

nothing else like it!

Asymmetric gameplay! Retro vibes! Play with my non-VR friends! Check, check, and check. Sign me up. We need more games like this that bring the sophistication and quality, with thoughtful design and hours of gameplay. Yeah, the puzzles are hard, but you got this! That's part of the fun.

We're idiots

I'm giving this three stars because I think the game is a great game and we're probably just idiots but this game is insanely confusing and I get that that's supposed to be a part of the game and that is kind of fun. But I think they should have at least added a tutorial or something because randomly the lights went out and we didn't know how to fix that and its pretty hard to navigate and I haven't played the game that much yet, but it's just very confusing. So that's why I'm giving it three stars but I do think it has potential if we figure it out. EDIT: we figured out the basics and it's a really fun game. It's much more enjoyable now.

So happy to hear you came back to try again! Everyone in Elsewhere Electric starts off confused because there's no explanations - it sounds like you've crossed that threshold now. I promise the game will keep introducing new concepts as you progress, and once you've mastered the past challenges new ones will be waiting. Thanks so much for the review.

For those that love challenges

A two player only, hard as nails, weird, relationship killer.

Will cause more divorces than Mario Kart.

It's pretty good 😎

HAHAHA! I couldn't have said it better myself. Many players think the mobile phone portion is a casual game, but if anything the 'Guy in the chair' role has many more options available. Thanks for a great description and I hope everyone stays together!

Challenging and unique

I'm about 3 hours in. I have experienced no glitches or crashes. It's a unique and original game that requires consistent and frequent communication between two people. There's definitely a learning curve and I appreciate that the game doesn't hold your hand and instead requires you to figure things out. I'm giving it 5 stars for originality, and challenge. I hope to see more games like this.
