DUST: Virtual Combat collects all VR playstyles into one virtual world where players can gather and compete as their favorite VR characters. Built on top of a custom networking system, DUST is a cross-platform VR-first game designed from the ground up to be fun, fair, and fluid even when the most intense players are battling it out from opposite sides of the planet.

Each playable class is a mix of unique VR locomotion and combat styles players will recognize from across the VR world:

- Arms-as-wings Flying locomotion
- Rocket-thruster-hands Flying locomotion
- Gorilla Arm locomotion
- Climbing locomotion
- Grapple-swinging locomotion
- Joystick Shooter locomotion
- and more...

DUST is currently in early alpha and changes often, but it is free-to-play and always will be.

Pretty good.

I have not played in a while but from what I can remember, this game is ok. I understand it is In pre alpha and for being in pre alpha, it is very good. I do wish there is a quest system and if there already is, I'm sorry I didn't know I haven't played in a bit.

This is a great game, but

This game is great for people to find their skills in characters, but they need some things for people to be active, like opening a shop but not to pay money the currency should be daily logins like 100 a of this currency skins hats stuff like that also challenges a way to level up to learn all skills of each character put a level on there chest and if you get to the max you get a special reward for the character like a mastery if you do get a shop please this is what I want and if they add it it ruins games exclusivety horrible but there should be weekly updates like other games I also have a problem with the pc vr why would I spend 1000 dollars on two classes in a game it is foolish respectfully finnaly I would want to know about when are the next classes coming out.
Thank you for looking at my review

Many of these things are planned! The dev team is basically 2 dudes so it takes time to add features, and there are tons of boring back end systems that have to be built before more fun stuff can be added. Some early access titles are far more finished than DUST, as we are only in Alpha 0.7, which isn't even a 'feature complete' Alpha 1.0, let alone a Beta!

One of the best places to suggest features is on our discord, in the ideas and suggestions thread so that we can keep track of great ideas.

Games with weekly updates are either dead simple Gtag fangames, or have millions of dollars and many developers(Orion Drift, Gorilla Tag, Animal Company, etc.) While the devs hope to have more regular updates in the future, there is still tons of work to do to get to that point.

No sure what you mean on PCVR, the PCVR version is the same as the Quest version and has access to all of the same VR classes. But screenmode only players can play as Scarab if they want to or if VR headset(s) are broken.

Thanks for the review! If you have more ideas definitely join the discord and let us know.

If the owner and the team is reading thi

And I saw videos and it looks fun and the characters are pretty cool. I’m not sure and one of the image of your game. There’s another character that’s like has claws and it’s like the golden. I’m not sure where that character is, but the rest are pretty cool and all but the problem is the bug it’s the bug. Every time I I join the game it put me in the off-line game even if I restart the game and and even if I deleted and install it. It’s still says deleting system 32 and it says maybe our servers are down I’m not sure if this game is already taken down, but I don’t know but this bug is annoying because it useless for to join quick matches, but looks fun, but it doesn’t allow me to join your online server. Just take me to off-line servers.

It's your ISP. If you're playing on wifi, try hotspotting your phone and playing that way. <1% of players have this issue due to legacy architecture that certain internet providers have. You're welcomed to leave the 1 star review until we fix it (we are currently reworking networking systems to fix this issue) but it sounds like you enjoy the game/concept and 1 star reviews are extremely damaging to us at this stage. Either way, we'll have a fix soon. And if you join discord we can help you further troubleshoot your internet. For now, we recommend rebooting all routers/modems, or using mobile hotspots. Best of luck!

Google for Dust VR and check our itch.io page, or go to vrdojo.games website. Install the PC version, and then be sure your SteamVR or Oculus(Meta Quest Link) software are running, then start the game. Also be sure the default OpenXR runtime is set to your VR setup(SteamVR/Meta). If you continue having problems, join discord! vrdojo.games or https://discord.gg/dustvr and ask for help!
