Great adventure game!

Very nice graphics style, feels like I’m in another world! The sound is very atmospheric, and there is a lot of equipment to have fun with.

I also love that there are NPCs to meet in game. The level themselves are quite hard but it’s very fun finding the solutions to progress.

I hope the game will add more levels in the future!

Not for me

In the description, it states you can play the game seated you can if you wish to play as a midget. You will be unable to see what's on the tables, but you can see underneath.
Despite this, I entered the game, and the wall I spotted the word tutorial. Now, this may be a way to find the settings and an option for playing seated, but try as I may, I could not get into the tutorial. At that point, I gave up and played a different game

sorry about that. we'll check that the tutorial works while being seated. we have played the game seated and it works fine.

Immersive storytelling and game play

I am really enjoying this game. The combat mechanics are fantastic, I like to shoot the enemies with crossbow and then hide to avoid being shot. It's quite easy when you time it right. It's easy to see your health and mana bar just by looking at your wrists. The storytelling is great. The voice is very soothing.

Super Fun and Highly Recommended!

I had a blast playing this game! Exploring the maps was exciting, and using the crossbow to take down enemies was incredibly satisfying. I’d definitely recommend it!

Promising new immersive ARPG

Minimalistic graphics (think about Valheim) but first person view, and just the right amount of details. Great story telling, no distractive hud, just full immersion. There is a little steep learning curve in the beginning as the game doesn't gives you much hints nor a tutorial you just jump straight into the story & then action. Highly recommended for those who are enjoying this genre.

Thanks for the kind review. There is a tutorial in the Inn but after your review we realized we made the sign for it too small so we increased the tutorial sign a lot. Hopefully you can see it now.

Very clunky interactions

Despite no longer being in early access it still feels like a very rough test, nowhere near ready to sell.

None of the interactions feel right. Everything from using the inventory to combat is very clunky. I didn’t make it to the end of the tutorial before deciding to refund.

The next to the last straw was the crossbow. There’s no manual reloading, you just press a button. The arrows are barely visible and don’t go where you aim them. I tried to grip the front with my other hand. Two handed grip doesn’t work, it jumps the weapon to your other hand while opening the inventory.

The last straw was the combat tutorial. It’s difficult because the controls feel very awkward. Trying to grab a potion with the pop up menu during battle is an exercise in frustration.

I love the concept of this game, but in its current state it’s unplayable for me.

Hi, thank you for your review! We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy the crossbow reloading mechanic. It was a deliberate design choice, but we may revisit it in the future. We aimed for a simple reloading system because the game becomes much more challenging beyond the tutorial, and you need to hold your shield in one hand while firing the crossbow with the other.

Regarding the two-handed grip, we didn’t include it because the shield plays a critical role in blocking attacks. The crossbow is accurate, but it doesn’t fire like a laser gun. Gravity affects the bolts, causing them to drop over distance, so you’ll need to compensate for that. Aiming takes practice, especially in VR, where steadiness is key. Personally, I find aiming with one eye helps. With a bit of practice, it becomes second nature, and mastering it feels very rewarding. We wanted to create a challenge that feels satisfying to overcome—admittedly, a bit old-school in approach.

As for the tutorial skeleton, we’re sorry it felt too difficult. It wasn’t intended to be overly challenging, but it sounds like your health got low, and you couldn’t reach your potion in time. Using your shield more often or dodging attacks could help. Grabbing a potion during battle is intentionally tricky; it’s part of our effort to add realism. In a real battle, it wouldn’t be easy to grab and drink a potion under pressure. This mechanic adds depth to the gameplay, encouraging players to strategize about when to recharge health—whether by potion or spell. Attempting it mid-battle, as you experienced, can be risky.

If potions were too easy to use during combat, it would lower the stakes. Players could simply stockpile potions and use them anytime their health dropped, diminishing the tension of the experience. Opening the inventory while avoiding attacks or during a brief pause makes it much easier to grab a potion.

We’re disappointed that you gave us a 1-star rating without progressing past the tutorial. It’s a bit like reading a restaurant menu and deciding the food is terrible without tasting it. Perhaps if you gave the tutorial another try, you might get more comfortable with the controls, and they could feel less clunky. That said, it’s entirely your choice.

Thank you again for giving our game a try!
