I didn't expect this scam, their advertising is nothing like the real game, it's a total pay to win game from the start, you don't even need tactics to win if you have good cards, I spent $ and started getting some wins but it's boring so I don't recommend this game at all, the match making is way tooo unbalanced. I tried it two weeks and already uninstalled it. Don't waste money buying it or in game boosters
I've played dragon front since the Samsung gear vr and Facebook gamesroom , I'm very happy to play it again on Q3
Total false advertising, this game is utterly pay to win, no matter how skilled you are you will get to a point pretty early in the game where the ai will just let lose op troops on you and will annihilate you, don’t waste your time, how this game has been allowed to stay up and advertise on the store is absolutely scandalous.
I’d give it a zero star if I could, be warned.
If you want to get ahead you will need to sink a lot of money on to this game.
Many in-app purchases to buy the required boosts and cards.
It takes more than the minimum time for a valid refund to find that this is a purcharge game. Shame on you Meta.
I love this game. Making decks is the key to beating campaigns.
UPDATE: 06 OCT 2024
After several months, the ‘invite friends’ option is still broken! The devs haven’t fixed it in all this time. Still can’t play with friends. Game is broken. DO NOT BUY.
The tutorial is so long that by the time you get through it, you’ll have exceeded the time limit to return the game. There are 8 factions, each with a different starting deck of cards, so you are immediately thrown in the deep end trying to figure out >50 units and how each faction works, including mechanics like death blow, flight, etc. You muddle through the tutorial largely by just winging it, figuring it’ll start to click once you’re actually familiar with the units.
After a few hours playing the tutorial, my friends and I just wanted to play together. The MULTIPLAYER FRIEND INVITE IS INCREDIBLY BUGGY. It took more than 15 minutes and several invite tries from both of us before the broken friend multiplayer finally worked and actually put us in a battle together.
We FINALLY got to play but suddenly found there’s a time limit to each turn. Only there’s no clock positioned intuitively anywhere to show you how much time you have left. There were no settings for us to change or turn off the time limit. We needed more time as we were still trying to learn all the units. The way the game mechanics work, especially around mana, the time limit made the game broken and unplayable in any practical sense.
This game concept had potential, but extremely poor execution makes it not worth bothering. Given the P2W component on top of it, I strongly recommend against this game.
The devs need to
1. Implement an adjustable time setting, so that new players can play together while still learning all the units
2. Introduce a clock in an obvious place, in the game environment, so you know how much time you have left.
3. Fix the bugs in the friend multiplayer invite system.
As is, the game is effectively broken and unplayable for new players who want to play together.
