Sucked

Bro, you could you couldn’t even control the bike. It’s meant to go fast but you can only go like two no like 0 miles in an hour and you can barely control the bike.

Uncomfortable but has potential...

I usually have a high tolerance towards getting motion sick in VR. This one immediately gave it to me.
I think this suffers from what a lot of VR "sims" do wrong. Which is aiming at real-world physics instead of targeting the "fun" part of biking (flowy trails for example)
I really dislike how fast you hit the "out of control" limit. I think auto accelerate would be better. Define a "trail speed" for different segments along the course and let my bike mostly auto-accelerate towards that, me braking should slow me down obviously. Maybe a "boost" button that has a refilling stamina for jumps and to use after braking too hard to get back to trail speed faster (and let you get above trailspeed temporarily). It should vignette as I speed up. As I stay in the "good" part of a berm keep my speed up. If I'm wobbly or miss it I should slow down a bit. Trying to focus on enjoying it and fluttering my thumb isn't really what mtb feels like (I ride about 50mi/week). This feels more like learning to drive a stick shift than flying through the woods on a magic machine

I see a lot of potential

There’s a lot of things they have to fix like making the person taller on the bike and a new mechanic in general it’s hard to control but if they put work into it they could make a great game I have never seen a mtb game on oculus but if they work on it, it could be a really good game
