Could have been better

This Doctor Who really disappointed me as we could have gotten so much more like more of the Daleks, weeping angels and the Cybermen i could have liked it if we had customisable sonic and interior

THIS COULD BE SO MUCH MORE!

So much more…. But it’s not fair. This is our reward.

The game is good foundational work for what could be a truly innovative and immersive way to experience the whoniverse but the gameplay is very linear and doesn’t give much control to the player so here’s what should be done

- actual piloting of the tardis instead of a loading screen (I know there’s semi piolting ONCE at the beginning)

- bring physical characters into the game like companions and I don’t know the doctor instead of a voice over and occasional hologram

-interactivity, the game only really lets you interact with plot driving items (which isn’t much) the things you do interact with are usual done by grabbing something (holding a button) sonicing something ( holding a button) or shooting ( pressing a button). The tardis is also essential just a big room with nothing to do in it :(

-Content. The scenes are small, make the environments bigger and add more of them. Maybe let the player hop between these environments on their own accord and interconnect them throughout the story.

-Longer story. Not much to say here, the game is pretty short. The narrative also could have been improved by perhaps lengthening the final boss fight (beat her in like 20 seconds) so was a bit anti climatic IMO.

-The game needs some patches, occasionally the game gets stuck on a black screen and Ihave to double press the oculus button or the players height gets extremely short or tall and I have to reset the boundary to get it working . Also saw a few in game bugs here and there

Overall I think there is still some joy you can get out of this game but because it’s so bare bones it will get dry quickly. Hey I had fun for parts of this game but I think what hurt this games rating is that there was so much potential, initially I was going to give 3 stars but I think the devs gave up on this which is sad to see:(

Game is great, price is not

Far too short for $20, finished in less than an hour. I regret buying this, when I had multiple choices of games that were $15, older and newer, all having far more content. Really disappointed.

Good but not much to do.

It's a nice game, you follow the storyline but it's very short and there is nothing to do once you have collected all the collectibles in the storyline. The maps are small and there are no alternative endings. There are no side quests there is just the main storyline which makes it a bit boring as you can't do anything but the story.

Unplayable, I’m so disappointed.

I bought this a while ago and just haven’t gotten around to playing it until now. I am in LOVE with the Doctor Who series, so I was incredibly excited to play this game.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t get past the first puzzle… I can’t grab everything, nor can I enter the safe number. I can only grab the phone, the door, drawers, and the electrical piece that controls the generator. None of the photos can be moved nor the safe combination entered.

THIS IS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR SMH. This game is too expensive to be this bugged.
If someone has any advice for me, PLEASE message me. I really want to play this game.

Downgrade from the old version?

Very disappointed by "updated version". I remember playing The edge of reality on PS VR - and it was better. There were more items to grab and look at it. And graphics were a bit better. I'm surprised considering that both PS4 and Meta Quest 3 have similar specs. The game itself doesn't look "heavy" to optimize THAT much.

The most annoying thing was the change of the puzzles. Why? Why do you decided to move the safe code to another room with these things? Also "check the display" and then it's just a wall with three photos? It's not a display, it's a wall with photos!

Overall - disappointing start. I hope to finish it but kinda discouraged.
