Doesn’t Work
Dad’s been playing this on Quest 2 for longest time, says it’s the best one. Got him a Quest 3 to match mine and we’re both unable to get past Hole 1, both solo and in multiplayer. Real shame.
Great game, bug can't go past 1st hole
Played the demo, was cool. Bought game, can't proceed past the first hole of each course. Goes in, stays green lit, not allowing to proceed after trying everything. If can't figure it out, shouldn't be this hard, I'll have to return it. Reinstalled etc
Bad course design
This game has the best physics, best art, but the course design is terrible. Especially the cloudy one where you cant even see where you're supposed to throw.
Get the other disc golf game instead even the the physics in that one aren't quite as good, the courses in that game are actually fun to play.
The best thing about this game is the driving range which is pretty fun but you can play that in the demo. Full game feels like a RIP off.
Excellent VR Disc Golf Experience!!
**Please disregard recent 1 star reviews as these were clearly written out of spite. It’s easily the best vr disc golf simulator out there and the developer deserves a lot of credit for doing it solo. **
As an avid disc golfer IRL I am a very hopeful but harsh critic of this game. That being said I’ve been playing it for a while now and I love it. The developer cares deeply about bringing us the most realistic disc physics and it shows in both disc flights and ground play. It’s incredibly rewarding and also heart breaking just like the real thing. Single player is awesome but multiplayer is a blast too so remember to join the discord channel to look for games. I am a Q2 user btw.
Update: Since I first reviewed there have been many improvements and tweaks that have made this game even better. The throwing mechanics feel very polished making all angles accessible to throw with power and accuracy. Can’t wait to try the Idlewild inspired course that’s being worked on currently.
Only thing I would like more is easier to throw short and long distance with like a power meter or something because throws are a little inaccurate but overall great game
Ps. Also add custom maps so everyone can create and play everybody's created courses and free or paid dlc if you would like
Beware - Dev no longer updating
Yes I too like this game but per the games discord the Dev has indefinitely stopped working on this which is unfortunate. If you want to pay for a game that won't be updated that's up to you, it's fun but no bug will get worked out every again.
It's a good game. Playability will be limited so choose wisely. 2 stars for great gameplay.
