Enhanced for Meta Quest 3 & 3S
The Horizon scientific research laboratory is a deceptively quiet place. When you came round, there were hundreds of the living dead all around you.

The denizens of the Horizon station will punish you for one thing: hesitation...

I really enjoyed playing this in VR. It feels fun and easy! I keep coming back because it’s just a good every time . ☠️☠️☠️🧟🧟🧟
This game is awesome . Excellent graphics and gameplay. My only issue is when I try to play co-op . It never loads . I have q1. Q2 and q3 . It never loads on any of the headsets or if I try to create a co-op myself . That does not work. If I play the game in single player mode. It plays fine. I would still rate this game 10 out of 10. As it is excellent to play.
I first tried the Cyberpunk version of the game and it instantly pulled me in. After that I went back to play the original, and honestly, I enjoyed both so much more than I expected. Now I'm really hoping there's a new game coming in the Death Horizon series - I'd jump into it day one.
I love this game great mixed reality style zombie shooter. learning to use the weapons was challenging and fun.
The setup was easy took a second to fiqure out how to do it but after that I had no problems.
This game is great, a lot of moving around. Graphics are good and the game just is great.
The story and general gameplay loop is perfectly fine. However, there are some very real QOL things that absolutely need to be addressed.
1. Melee weapons are wonky at best. They feel wiggly and awkward to use, ultimately cause them get cast to the side.
2.Ammo in game is plentiful until you get to the late game where you’re playing as Em, then it’s nigh impossible to come by.
3.The campaign feels and behaves like it was built specifically with duos in mind. Making playing the game solo a frustrating experience in late game because you just can’t carry enough of anything to make it through first try.
4.The rifles (AR-15 and SCAR-H) are cumbersome, unwieldy and feel way underpowered. An AR-15 and SCAR-H should reliably drop regular/weak zombies with a single shot to the head, and it’s underwhelming that they don’t.
5.Loot despawns pretty regularly. I just had an experience where I was at the mounted minigun part of the game and literally all of the ammo cans for the mounted gun despawned when I went into the nearby secret room. I came back out and all the ammo was gone I had back out to the main menu and reload to fix it.
6.The health injector should have its own unique spot instead of taking up a holster. In late game, it tends to be extremely annoying having to build my whole load out around wanting to carry the health injector. It’s also a mechanic that should be introduced from level 1 and not halfway through the game. It completely changed the way I had to approach every single level afterwards all because the health mechanics suddenly changed.
7.The stun guns are cool but ultimately useless. They great when you’re dealing with the giant zombie, but they’re no where dangerous enough to justify giving up my primary or my secondary while also carrying a health injector. But realistically, the fact that they can stun the big guy and that you’re essentially forced to choose between stun weapon or health injector puts the player in a very frustrating position. Stun the big guy and actually he able to do stuff for longer than 5 seconds or be able to heal… not exactly a fair choice for the player in what is ultimately just a zombie shooter.
8.The mounted minigun is just a little too tall. I’m 5’6” (yes, I’m on the short side) and have to stand on my toes just to see over it.
9.I personally would love to see more interactive things in the game. I love that consoles and keyboards make typing sounds when tap your hands against them and I love the keycard and security bypassing mechanics. I just wish that there were more grab-able objects instead only being able to push them around. I think it’d really help with immersion.
Other than those issues, the game is fantastic. I love the hidden rooms, the atmosphere and level designs are immersive and interesting. The story is compelling once you get into it. And I’ve had some great moments playing with my friends. I just think there are some QOL things that would really propel the game into mass popularity on the Quest
Hard to put down — pure fun and nonstop action. Easily one of my go-to games now.
