Five years after the events of DEAD SECRET, a razor-wielding maniac with a penchant for circles is prowling the wintry streets of Chicago. Follow the clues to a dilapidated apartment building and its down-and-out tenants, each with something to hide. Investigate their apartments, collect evidence, and pay attention to your dreams to solve the riddle of The Laughing Man before you meet his blade.

Slow-burn psychological horror. Nothing is as it seems.

In DEAD SECRET CIRCLE you can freely explore every nook and cranny of the highly detailed environment with full locomotion. Solve devious puzzles in classic Adventure format. Collect items, review the clues, and unlock the secrets of this strange building. You can run, you can hide, but you cannot fight The Laughing Man. Your only weapon is your wits. Find alternate endings, a huge collection of hidden items and documents, and branching dialog paths.

Haunting original score by Ben Prunty (FTL, Darkside Detective, Into the Breach).

The Lobster Considered31 days ago

A whodunit murder mystery with a haunted, unreliable protagonist. The game drew me in and I ended up enjoying it immensely.

Not for VR - outdated point and click

This game is old and its age clearly shows up in the interaction system, graphics and gameplay. You walk around pointing at things to solve puzzles, which are actually pretty fun. However, the experience is held back whenever you have to start pointing at things again in this flat-looking environment.
Buy only if you’re a fan of the franchise. Personally not a fan of the story, so I ended up watching play through videos after halfway through to close the loop - boy, that ending was not worth it.

Hi Nel,

Sorry to hear you did not like the game, but great to read you enjoyed the puzzles.

The point-and-click mechanic is indeed a reference to Point and Click Adventure games, you noticed that correctly!
The game was designed like this, and specifically with VR in mind.

Thank you for playing it nevertheless!

Amazing Game

Love the game, graet story and gameplay. I would love smooth turn and no vignette! But it's still a great game!

Incredible Attention to Detail

The detail put into the narrative, characters and especially the environment is absolutely lovely and masterfully crafted. The developers have an impressive talent for building up an incredibly tense and chilling atmosphere.
