Hey, you! Welcome to the island of Pequena! 🏝️ Dead Man's Quest is a narrative hand-tracking and puzzle short story and technical demonstration, lovingly wrapped in a light-hearted and quirky pirate theme 🏴‍☠️!

With its carefree, comical, and visually exaggerated style, Dead Man's Quest features colorful characters, a perky parrot 🦜 and quippy narrated dialogue. With hand-tracking controls, you embody an... well, unusual character in a precarious situation as you wake up in a holding cell in the Fort. Did we mention you need to solve some puzzles to escape?

Dead Man's Quest is the result of the developers' exploration into hand-tracking technologies and their love for games such as “Monkey Island” and movies such as “Life of Brian”. The experience is not intended as a full game. We hope you enjoy it!

Note that the experience is meant to be played in one go, no save system is currently in place. Controller support is optional as desired.

It needs more levels

I loved playing this game. I got stuck a few times, but this game is so much fun. One thing that would make it even better was if there was more levels and challenges to complete I hope you do add more levels and challenges in the near future.

Need better tutorial to play

I’m not an everyday player of puzzle adventure type games so maybe you all intuitively understand the mechanics but after I got out of the dungeon to talk to the parrot I got fed up and quit. The parrot asking “ do I have to spell it out for you”? Yes, as a matter of fact you do cause the slow paced staring at me like I’d be able to know what to do next without any instruction just frustrated me to no end!

Fun little graphics is about the only positive I saw.
A better tutorial for noobs and others like myself who usually only use vr for fitness games would go a long way to getting more players to stay.

Lovely Pirate Themed Puzzle

This is a charming Pirate puzzle adventure which is well designed and executed. Great escape room style problems to figure out. Really enjoyed playing it.
