I'm in the 2nd chapter shadows of the past I only can find 4 caps and I need 6 to continue the game I been stuck for days cannot continue very disappointed
This game is really very good, but it’s really hard and I don’t know what to do half the time…or I’m stupid. I need a walkthrough somewhere. I need the answer to the safe
I remember playing police quest years ago, and when I heard that this game was similar, I was so excited because I absolutely loved police quest. This game really didn't disappoint me. I enjoyed the puzzles. I enjoyed the suspense. I wish there were more than 2 levels to play. But I saw that there may be other ones in development. So I can't wait for them to come out. The only thing I think I would change would be the loading screen where the pictures come at you. I just keep my eyes closed so I don't have to see it because it can be kind of blinding. I do wish there was a hint button to help with some of the puzzles because they were a little difficult at times. And just for the record, I did play sitting down, and it wasn't an issue.
Lighting levels are weird - and I say this because I'm used to working with art and light being in it. Leading up to Apt 20x (x being any number), the lights seem to be on when you walk the corridors round the apartments, but the level of light that shows up on the surrounding environment doesn't match up to the light level on the ceiling coming from the lights. This is an uncomfortable eyestrain experience.
Then there's the saving. I save progress, or think I have, but in actual fact I'm left to repeatedly save the game after I've found the key, open the box, got the other key, but all I have actually saved is getting buzzed in. This is vexing as well.
With those being fixed, it would be a great game.
Do not get me wrong good idea for a game, but from my experience. This game is not worth $10. If you like to sit down while you play do not buy this game because from where your boundary is set to the floor, the floor in the game is lower than that and you are unable to touch buttons or pick up items like a key or your case that your suppose to keep you. The part in the first case where you need a key to get into apartment 202 won’t unlock and if you let go of the key it falls to the ground and you can not pick it back up. Also, when you have it set to standing your avatar is super short and you are in the ground and if you set it to sitting down that’s when you are to tall to pick up thing or touch the hint buttons. So I advise y’all not to waste your money until the game is fixed. I would like my money back.
I LOVE this game! I have been spending hours playing this game and I can’t get enough. Well worth the price…can’t wait for Case Files 2! Thank you for making this awesome adventure game!
