Very Good!
One of the best racing games I’ve played. Thank you for bringing a Podracer game like this. The controls are very good!
I just think it would be great if the boost could last longer before overheating. An in-game option to disable overheating would also be awesome!
I hope the game will include multiplayer soon!
Skill Based Speed!
I've had my Q2 for about 3 years now and have yet to find a racing game that is as addictive as Dart Racer is. Once I got the steering down I could not stop until I had set (what I think is the best time) for every course! Hats off to the Dev on this one. Join the Discord and post your times and I look forward to beating them!
Fun racing game
First racing game I have downloaded on the quest and it's great fun. Obviously it's taken inspiration from the pod racing arcade game, which I was also a fan of.
Controls work really well on the Quest and are super easy to understand, wouldn't have any concerns if I had a child try to understand as the tutorial covers the basics very well.
Keep up the good work, sure it will be a great success.
Podraceing game
This is very close to Star Wars podraceing game
Worst... controls.... ever
Never before, have I ever seen a control system THIS bad in VR. I feel like some sort of congratulations are in order here.
The game itself looks nice enough for App Lab and I'm sure the finished product's going to look even nicer... but that's a completely moot point, because the controls are completely horrible. It's a shame, really. Could have been a nice little racer with usable controls. And no, I'm not going to spend weeks slowly practicing with the unwieldy controls to "get the hang of it". I'm just going to give it one star and not play it any more.
I'm sure the control system looked good on paper and the dev can handle it very well himself, since he's coded it. But for a regular user, just forget about it. This does not work in practice.
