Dance! Dance! Dance! is an exhilarating rhythm game featuring two captivating modes:

In DANCE mode, players follow a dance instructor, mimicking their moves with precision. As you dance, pop bubbles strategically placed to replicate the moves, earning points, combos, and streaks for accuracy. As the difficulty increases, master specific hand gestures, directional movements, and faster bubble speeds to keep up.

To add to the fun we have also included a new experimental BATTLE mode, with the focus shifting to popping bubbles while facing additional challenges like Golden Bubbles. With up to five instructors switching bubble patterns, you'll need to stay sharp. We hope you love this new mode as part of the Dance! Dance! Dance! game and will be bringing moire battles to life soon!

Difficulty Modifiers

This game has the potential

Background Graphics Issues: While playing, I observed that the background features round bubbles that collide and cause graphical glitches. This detracts from the overall visual quality of the game. The effect of these bubbles approaching the player feels very jarring, especially since it is presented in 2D, which creates a sense of dissonance.

Resource Allocation: I suggest reallocating resources to improve the quality of the round bubbles, as they are a focal point for players. The character dancing in the foreground could be simplified, as players are often too focused on handling the incoming notes to appreciate the details of the dancer. A more streamlined representation would enhance the overall experience without compromising gameplay.

I believe that addressing these issues could significantly improve the game’s quality and player satisfaction. If these problems are resolved, I would be more than willing to update my review score and confidently recommend the game to others.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review and even though it's only one star all feedback is appreciated, both good and bad.

The first thing I would like to point out is that the current screenshots are totally accurate and all the songs listed are in the game. There was a period before we started the promotion where the songs were removed in the game but it took longer than anticipated for the new meta data to be published so there was a potential for that misunderstanding. However we have made it clear that anyone who bought the game during that period of time, or paid the full price for the game can request a voucher to redeem those tracks. I would also like to ask that you remove your comments about us intentionally trying to deceive which is simply not true as hopefully I have explained above.

Moving onto your points about the bubbles causing a distraction and in some cases glitching, we fully take this on board and will look closely at this with a view to improving.

Finally the dance instructor/avatar is something we have discussed at length internally and we have come to the conclusion that it is quite subjective. Focus groups showed that some people loved it and some people didn't even notice it so it's a difficult one to deal with. We are planning to make the dance instructor optional which would hopefully resolve the problem.

I can't get it to work...

I downloaded it and I can't get it to do anything. I click on everything and anything and there is zero response.
I'm fairly new to Meta quest so maybe it's operator error? I have read some other reviews,though, and it does sound pretty glitchy... I gave you two stars because it looks promising!😉

Pleasantly surprised!

Based on some of the other reviews/ratings I was expecting something pretty janky here, but it's actually a pretty decent dance game (imo). The mechanics all seem to work fine, and while you always want more/better songs with a game like this, the core selection isn't terrible. You can boogie to them. It hasn't (yet) dethroned Synthriders for me as my favourite VR dance game, but at it's comparatively budget-friendly price point, it's a nice complimentary addition to my collection. Worth a play for sure. :)

We have been refining the game and will be adding more music, but as this has been slow to appear we understand that some of our community are a little frustrated. But please be assured they are coming and from May onwards there will definitely be some movement with new stuff appearing.

Confused about songs

I recently purchased this app on sale. I’ve read the reviews, and I’m still confused on why I’m only able to load one song. Does that mean I have to pay more for songs? If so I did not read that anywhere before I purchased. I know it was only .99 but paying for additional songs is not worth it. Maybe I’m confused. UPDATEUpdatedand I update

Thanks for reaching out to us and we are really sorry to hear about the problems you have encountered.
You should certainly have 16 songs in the game which are included in every purchase.
Without knowing exactly what the problem is I can attempt to give you a quick guide.
1. When you first load the game you will see a PLAY button in the middle, just under the Dance! Dance! Dance! logo.
2. Click on this PLAY button and you will see a song list.
3. You should be able to choose any of these songs, nd the difficulty and mode on the right.
4. You should also see a large PLAY button appear at the bottom of your view, in the middle, and when you press this the song should start.
Please let me know you get on, and you can also open a ticket on our discord channel if you need any more detailed advice.

Firstly thank you for this amazing review which is hugely appreciated.
We really want to help but I'm not sure exactly what the issue is. We don't technically have a workout mode - we have a dance mode which has three difficulty levels and a battle mode which also has difficulty levels but we are still working on the battle mode as it's got a few known issues. If you can give us a little bit more information that would be appreciated. (you can email us if easier from our website www.vstars.co.uk)
There are loads of things happening over the next couple of months including some new music and routines so we really appreciate you sticking with us and we will continue to work hard to make sure that valuable customers like yourself are first and foremost in everything we do.
