I used to love this game...

This is the only game I played in VR, just everything was perfect until they updated, idk why but they took away the hight calibration and so I'm always fighting midgets also they did something to the AI where they keep circling, the controls are not there for that, just make them stand in the same place and for all that is holy get them away from me. I realize my "guard" is only on my gloves so there's no easy way to block anything when they insist on standing inside me (also I feel like I'm unable to ever throw anything but hooks)
All in all it's a fine game, struck down from glory by strange decisions like altering ai and "cleaning up" the menus. Just give us what you took from us.

Thrill of the fight is cheaper & better

Horrible damage system and overall game mechanics, both thrill of the fight 1 and 2 are better

My fav VR game

Boxing games are my favorite kind of game on VR. It's the best exercise because of the natural instinct to defend yourself.

Why I prefer this game over Thrill of the Fight. The gaming experience is much richer:
- much better graphics
- story mode
- you actually get to fight Rocky's opponents
- you get to fight outside the ring
- everything goes black when you are knocked down, which is a very interesting and unique experience

Some things about the gameplay are not great however:
- your real life stamina and strength are reduced by the game
- although it's nice that you CAN warm up, it's very poor gaming experience that your stamina in the game is reduced based on the warmup performance, especially when it's not always clear what to do
- when you lose a fight it's not because you're a worse fighter, because you've landed 10x more hard and clean hits than your opponent, unless you are playing hardest mode where you've landed 100x more hard clean hits
- it seems that sometimes it's impossible to block punches, and in combination with poor warmup performance you are forced to lose some games (or you have to move your body by walking away, which is not allowed according to game instructions)
- the interface doesn't remember all your settings (for example if you skip story mode and just fight)
- you don't know when the game is saved, so if there is a fight outside the ring, during story mode, you don't know if you have to do the fight or the game is saved so that you can do it later

Doesn't make any sense.

This game could be pure GOLD, but with the way that damage is balanced just makes zero sense at all. I played through the story on pro, but when it came to champion mode, things just got kind of dumb. I passed up the first fights pretty easily, but when I got to "the showstopper" it stopped making sense. I get that this is the hardest mode, and it should pose a challenge, but I mean when I land 300 punches on this guy, he only goes down once, but he hits me a single time in the gut and I cripple to the ground instantly like a crash dummy. I mean I honestly think I could take a gut punch from Mayweather better than Creed can from Dwayne Reynolds😭😭 Overall Thrill of the Fight 2 is much more accurate in my opinion.

10X better than thrill of the fight 2

Punches actually land in this game and actually having good form matters. The game will register weak punches and assign a lower damage, great workout. And great way to practice your boxing skills My only problems are during the training sessions the equipment is positioned weird in relation to my actual body. Also the game doesn’t seem to register hooks or uppercuts if you’re too close to the opponent, your arms in the game just fade through the enemy and deals no damage
