UPDATE:- After the mozt recent update, the game now responds to re-centering as it should and doesn't start me off facing backwards!
It also just seems to run faster and smoother overall, though I'm not sure if that's just in my head. 😅
All of the little added information pop-ups are nice, even teaching me 1 or 2 control features I didn't know existed, adding a nicer flow to the game.
The fdevelopers fid great and worked quickly on smoothing out their game, and i can't wait to see what more they bring to the table in the future if anything.
So I can whole heartedly recommend the game now for anyone wanting a fun color natching game with shooting mechanics and a space theme!
It's a great time when you ant domething mire arcadey. 😁
OG:- The game ftom what I've played do far, is a good color matching game translated to VR very well. Though it's incredibly easy, I'm sure the difficulty really picks up later on (hopefully).
My one grievance so far, and the one issue I noticed IMMEDIATELY upon just booting the game up for the very first time- the game is absolutely STUCK in one direction!
Re-centering using the Quest 3 doesn't do anything, neither does restarting it facing the opposite way... the gane, fir no reason at all, is just STUCK facing a very specific direction and blocks you from doing ANYTHING about it (a first in all my years of VR/ Quest gaming...).
I noticed this on the main menu, where I heard noises and talking, but was literally facing the SEAT I WAS VIRTUALLY SITTING IN. Nothing I could do but physically turn around, which in many cases (especially in a seated game like this), thats not something you want to deal with!
The premise sounded good, but there are several glaring problems with the game.
1. You're stuck in the air high above your chair with no way to fix it.
2. Level selection is almost impossible. I have to spam shoot the level chapter with both guns, and sometimes it works, but not often, and yes, I'm shooting at the middle.
3. In the level that throws the balls like asteroids, it's impossible to shoot them because the game never gives you the color you need to shoot the balls, but once every 3 or 4 shots. That's a lot of shooting at nothing just to change colors. By the time you get the right color, you've been hit 5 or 6 times. Hope these things get fixed, or I'm likely to never play this again.
We cannot figure this game out there are no instructions . We run out of bullets and game over. No way to get more. Please pass some instructions over or I will be asking for a refund. Thanks
This game is super fun and brings back the classic arcade feel. Definitely worth the price for anyone who loves old-school puzzles wrapped in VR with shooting adventure!
I got the same problem I can't get past the first board myself I keep being on top of the chair but can't been down low enough to get to the chair
After the tip from the developer how to start the levels (shooting into center of the hexagon) I can play. The alien gets a little annoying after a few levels. Good way to kill time.
