Seems good to me

I’m coming in with minimal experience to the City Skylines games. I always played the roller coaster tycoon games and Jurassic World. For me this game seems like a great 1st attempt at vr adaptation. The controls are intuitive and the world feels busy. Maybe the game was in a bad place on launch but this felt really fun to me. I will update my review if needed as I play through the game. Love it!

My experience

This game is so fun And it’s bright. I recommend. It’s kinda hard to get used to, but it’s definitely worth the price

Great game!

I have loved city building games since Sim City 2000. Playing a game like that in VR is amazing. There is loads of content, a lot of maps that are huge! IDK why people are expecting the full PC/Console version on the Quest 3. They did a great job bringing this to VR. Even better I got it on sale for $8! Definitely worth it.

Hoping there's an update...

I've played cities skylines, this isn't it, nor does it claim to be I guess.
Major issues:
One other reviewer that I saw said it crashes, it does, on my first run too.
Next thing I want to mention, blurry textures. Some things are nice and sharp, looking great, others are a blurry mess, unreadable.
The map toggle.. it'd be nice if you could rotate it to look like holding a map in front of you, without contorting your neck like an ostrich. Easier to draw roads and pipes on a map.

Minor issues:
Somewhere I must have clicked on a seagull, it was 'flying', had a job and it was invisible, I didn't see it anywhere. I also clicked on a ped that was sitting, the seagull thing also popped up, when they stood up I clicked again and got a name.
Vehicles clip through the ground a lot and have captcha plates. They probably all have the same plate and it's garbled so it's less noticeable.
Can't zoom out very far to get a better look.

I give up. Completely abandoned game

This game has so much potential but it had been completely abandoned by the developers. Such a shame.
