The graphics are so mediocre and warped with such a beta demo level intro I didnt even make it to any real gameplay before I had to uninstall. Entitely mid all the way through.
It is a great game. I love the magic system.
It's a little complicated and it hasn't reached its full potential but I think in time you could make this into a banger game!!

I loved the fact that there's a whole universe to explore and many things to learn. The places are wide which make it quite relaxing, while it remains challenging.
I've had the game for a week or so and wanted to play through the majority of it before writing a review.
So you have a range of abilities, on the left hand you'll have the possibility of a shield, a spike type of thing that comes from the ground and a gun.
On the right you have a sword/axe,a throwable ball and another gun
You'll end up with 6 different types of magic and three sets where you can combine two of the magic types into something new, toxic sludge for example as one of the combos.
There's a total of six areas to complete, all are wave based which starts with standard enemies and has a type of boss after each wave, where you'll then get bonuses to buff some of your attack options after completing a round.
There are other level types, a wood slicing section where you have to change to the different sword element types and cut in half the corresponding colours, which builds in speed.
There's also the same thing but instead throw your magic balls at targets as they move towards you.
All in all I had fun,the ability wheel worked well, I only encountered one bug where enemies were spawning on the level above where they should be and I had to use the crowd control spikes to kill them.
There's a lot of enemy variety and you'll have to pick the correct element to deal the most damage, because you if you pick wrongly you'll just heal them back to full health.
On normal difficulty it was about the right type of a challenge, just remember the five D's -
Dodge
Dip
Duck
Dive
and Dodge
Nice graphics, enjoy the combat. I think this is a cool concept and fun to play.
