I get that this type of movement is probably the easiest to program. But I think that you could collect more players with the movement similar to the game “NoClip” where you use left stick to move(walk) and move your hands in a sprinting motion to sprint.
This system to allow for terrifying experience when running from monsters. But also allow for many players to enjoy this game without the annoying usual gorilla tag movement.
This movement isn’t seen as professional and it really doesn’t fit this type of gameplay. I think this game could do great with a change to this NoClip movement rather than the gorilla tag movement.
Another thing is this movement can be used to exploit this type of gameplay in a way that isn’t fair to the game and will only cause more issues. I could easily climb any pillar and wall run and jumping through doors (entries) cause problems.
Either way this game is pretty fun and interesting but usual issues are as follows:
Dark corridors that are TOO dark
Buggy ship movement
Annoying ship shelf. It doesn’t open/close properly
No sounds coming from some monsters
Door with this type of movement cause weird launching problems.
I can climb wall run and do things that this game just shouldn’t allow. It would be better if the movement wa simply a walking standing running movement.
Many of my friends have played this game before.
So I’m going to try it and see how it is.
I used to hate this game because it was so buggy, and now it’s good, I just go to ingame settings and turn on 100 herts for best experience
This is exactly what I needed as a lethal company fan keep up the great work
it gets very laggy im sure youve seen other reviews like this but after about 10-15 mins the server gets too slow to play on or just crashes and i am aware that the quest 2 is pretty outdated in terms of hardware but atleast do some optimisation
i spoke to a dev and he said it was designed to have lethal company like graphics
overall its an amazing game taking the scrap collecting genre of horror to vr with hand locomotion
It's actually pretty good for a early access game excited for coil heads!
