At first I was hating it for being too hard, even on easy mode. Then I discovered you can enable "invulnerability", which gave me a chance to enjoy the game. Love the story, atmosphere, music, voice 'acting' (AI voices I believe). Even with vulnerability enabled I got very scared, and no game so far has ever accomplished that, perhaps aside from Paradise Hotel. Without invulnerability enabled, I was screaming non stop because of the spiders. Then I also discovered you can stomp on them by pressing 'B' on the controller. It's very dark and you can't see the aliens half of the time until they're on you. I don't know how anyone can go through the lasers without the invulnerability mode on. Or escape all the swarm of aliens in some parts. And I'm usually good in FPS, but without invulnerability I would not have been able to play this. I have seen some disadvantages reviews of this game, I beg to differ and think this is thoroughly enjoyable, switched on a full range of emotions.
This is a great game, hugely underrated, I got in on sale, and if you can - don't hesitate! Worth full price. As others have mentioned the screenshots don't do the game justice, it looks way better in the headset. So great to see original world building in VR with fresh ideas and super fun fps gameplay to boot.
True Great .Love it. Well done .
Great simple space alien shooter game with a good story. Enjoyed it!
The storyline and campaign are great, I like tje environmental immersion and weapon system. Where the game lacks is it's controls. You can't change which joystick to move with. If you don't grip the gun just right you end up shooting yourself and sometimes the controls glitch altogether and you cant move
It baffles me that people say this game looks good. Almost no lighting effects, blurry textures, models and environments that lack details - this game looks like a Half-Life 1 mod!
At first I thought the game might make up for it with good gameplay, but the combat is dull and repetitive, the "puzzles" are boring and only a few objects are interactable, so you don't really want to explore your surroundings either.
The story might be good, dialogue is written pretty well. But I was so bored by the game already in the first level that it is hard to keep playing.
