Great simple space alien shooter game with a good story. Enjoyed it!
The storyline and campaign are great, I like tje environmental immersion and weapon system. Where the game lacks is it's controls. You can't change which joystick to move with. If you don't grip the gun just right you end up shooting yourself and sometimes the controls glitch altogether and you cant move
It baffles me that people say this game looks good. Almost no lighting effects, blurry textures, models and environments that lack details - this game looks like a Half-Life 1 mod!
At first I thought the game might make up for it with good gameplay, but the combat is dull and repetitive, the "puzzles" are boring and only a few objects are interactable, so you don't really want to explore your surroundings either.
The story might be good, dialogue is written pretty well. But I was so bored by the game already in the first level that it is hard to keep playing.
Tight lil adventure so far. Hope to see updates and more optimizations 🤙
Bought this for 10 pounds expecting a half decent indie horror game and was pleasantly surprised to get what I can only call a AAA title! Sure some of the voice work is a little wonky but the care put into the story shown through holo logs like horizon zero dawn and text logs. Not to mention the environmental storytelling, the way the aesthetic changes with each ship you make it to, and that horrible wall of flesh with teeth that chases you I was hooked and only took one break before finishing the game, its a good few hours long and, if the credits are to be believed, we will be getting more content! Can't recommend this game enough for someone wanting a break from the endless rogue lite games available and would have been worth it at 30 pounds.
Truly an astonishing amazingly gorgeous FPS cosmic action horror wanna play it again and again while kicking alien butt also I love exploring dead ships finding lore on what happened i do hope the story continues so I can explore more ships and kick alien butt thanks for bringing this game to life
PS. I also love/enjoy being my own Marine protagonist truly amazing idea
