Now he’s calling for you with updated graphics, smoother interactions, and quality of life upgrades in the Director’s Cut.
Casey’s dark journey begins when she receives a cryptic message from her father, which leads her back to the abandoned trails of Coldblood Mountain, a remote wilderness that has haunted her family for generations.
Stalking her is a terrible power, watching Casey’s every move, and forcing her to make horrific decisions in the hopes of finding her lost father.
Can you help her solve the clues he left littered behind on the mountain’s cold, uncaring slopes? Or will something else find her first?
Broken Spectre takes advantage of the Quest's immersive hand-tracking controls, bringing unparalleled realism to the game’s gruesome body horror elements.
We’ve updated both the visuals and interactions in this Director’s Cut for a spine-tingling and macabre experience you’ll never forget.
Produced by one of the creators of The Blair Witch Project – a landmark of the found-footage horror genre - Broken Spectre is an original eldritch horror experience inspired by the works of John Carpenter and H.P. Lovecraft.

easily my new favorite quest game, and an especially fantastic story. highly recommended!
Broken Spectre was already a one in a million experience - but now with the directors cut it absolutely sings. Works great even on Quest 2!
Flippin MARVELLOUS on Quest 3!
Even thought I am not a fan of horror games I really enjoyed the story of this game following the history of the characters . There aren’t too many narrative games for quest so I’m very happy to have played this. The hand gestures work very well
I love a deep story. I wasn't sure how I was going to like the way they set up the controls for movement but it wasn't as bad as I thought. I never felt lost and the story sucked me in. It got better and better and the grand finale didn't disappoint. I definitely recommend to cosmic and body horror fans.
this was a ride! i barely write reviews but i highly recommend this game of you’re into story more than gameplay. there are some issues with using the tools though. the turn mechanic can get confusing or tiring too.
I enjoyed the experience a great deal. I do wish there were more gaming elements in it. Easily would pay double the price for that! It seems kind of a waste to have such a cool story concept wrapped up in 2 hours. I’ve played longer games with far less story to drive things. But yes, recommended. (Bumping to 5 stars cuz my 4star rating decreased rating from 4.8 to 4.7 and I don’t want that)
