They’re charging 25+ for a draft of a game. I was able to play one single match in three days. Everything else has been frustrating hours of waiting in.
If you’re thinking to buy this save yourself some money and a disappointing experience.
The thrill of the fight has not point of comparasion, just by the fact that you’re able to play as soon as you launch it it’s 100 times better than this scam
1. Jittery
2. boundary bug so people can hide outside it
3. clinches
4. KD's are so bad as of today. I didn't feel I earned a single one and several random ones where I didn't even really swing
I’m a huge fan of The Thrill of The Fight so naturally I had to try this one out. I’d say Boxing Underdog tops both TOFT games. The gore is 10/10. The bareknuckle mode is an excellent feature. Lots of potential. Can’t wait to see what future updates bring!
I don’t know it just won’t let me load in but what I’ve seen of the game it looks amazing
People just run at you swinging no defense it seems my shots do nothing while they just go haywire, few exploits id rather not say here. I don't want more people doing it.
fight's vs NPC's aren't based on speed and effort.
sometimes you can give a weak punch to the stomach or temple and knock them down. Other times you can give a perfect flurry and it won't faze them. NPC's have the same fighting style: smother you. it's difficult to get the distance you need for technical punches, it feels like i'm in a nate diaz vs jake paul fight.
things I've noticed: simply moving around the room in roomscale increase the chances of KD's, so it not just about putting your body and swing into it, its also about putting your headset into it. in other words, circle your opponet while throwing some punches.
trying to Mike Tyson peekaboo isn't effective for KD's in my testing.
PROS: advanced AI movements/animations and sound effects.
devs seem to be working very hard to make this game great and possibly the best boxing VR game.
