BlackForge: A Smithing Adventure is the ultimate VR weaponsmithing simulator! Become a legendary blacksmith, crafting mighty blades and impeccable tools as you hone your trade in a mystical forge.
Hone your craft and fulfill the requests of townspeople in a full campaign. Study the mythical techniques of the elders, forge metal, shape wood, and channel the power of the Aesir into your ancient hammer to create epic weapons worthy of the bravest heroes.
VR allows BlackForge to go deeper than any other weaponsmithing game before it. Shape and smooth wood on the workbench, or heat metal in the forge and then summon thunder into your hammer to beat it into shape. Be as creative as you like by putting personal touches on each weapon. Accessible tutorials make the game easy to pick up and get started with.
BlackForge has a full campaign in which you’ll take on requests from townspeople across the world. You’ll complete increasingly intricate tasks from the surrounding towns. Once you’ve mastered all the new tricks and techniques taught to you in one area, you’ll move on to the next with a new set of missions and skills to learn.
Travel to the lands you’ve always dreamed of and immerse yourself in the quaint, quiet life of the blacksmith. Relax in your rustic abode, meet new characters, and don’t forget to pet your adorable spirit, nestled in the center of the forge.

A lot of the game is broken and the rest is so jank that id rather play any other game that has even a little bit of smithing. This game should be a free tech demo not 20 bucks
Why is the flatening methode sphereacal and not a squere like bro the hammer is not round its flat it should be at least a option to switch between ways to flatend the metal
Been trying to find a game like this for years even before vr was a thing I could never find a smithing game that felt like I was actually crafting instead of just following a set shape or form, this scratches that itch I get to create things, I see potential improvements here and there but over all I'm not a perfectionist so the occasional issues don't bother me, if you're a perfectionist do not play this game, otherwise if you like making weapons and petting cute fire creatures pick this game up things do become repetitive to a degree but for me its about honeing my craft
after ten times of making a pitch fork some might get anoyed i like to get better at making something that actually looks like a pitch fork making blunt items takes time and carful hammer work so have pactience its an easy cozy blacksmith game
Expect bugs, it crashes and sometimes needs a restart to fix a bug but overall its a good game
It starts out as a great game then you begin to see bug after bug, until you are completly soft locked and you have to start all over. Do not get this game! you will be trapped into thinking it is a good game until the refund deadline then you wont be able to get your money back once you relize its a glitchy mess.
The gameplay itself is fine, however the quests get repetitive and the blade type detection really needs work. Whenever I try to make a sword it attacks like a spear, and spears attack like blunt items. The trial and error needed to get even one order done is frustrating enough to make me stop playing. I haventeven unlocked much, just oak wood and tin, but I would rather play something that isn't annoying.
As a side note, this game gives me motion sickness after playing for a few minutes, I think its because Im on quest 2 and the performance is lacking a bit causing frame stuttering.
I really want to like this game but it fights you the whole time you play, at least from my experience.
I'm not sure why, and this doesn't happen with any of my other games, but this one somehow keeps disconnecting my controllers, or turning them off, and I get stuck unless I wildly shake them around.
