Avatar Mech is a single player and multiplayer mech-robot arena game designed specifically for VR. You can use the controller to move two arms of the mech through an exoskeleton system when sitting inside the mech's cockpit.

In each battle, you can form a team of [1 vs 1] up to [4 vs 4], with AI players or real players. Control your mech and fight with other mechs and robots beside your teammates. You can join voice chat with your team. You can also play in single player mode, by playing with all AIs.

The game features special VR features that allow players to play mech games in a completely new way. You can customize your mech with different weapons and switch to the mech's arm shield to block attacks: guns and rockets for long distances, axes for close combat. The mech's hands are completely freely controlled by the pilot's hands, which is you!

Experience different battle maps: from modern cities, desolate deserts to icy white snow. You can participate in intense and exciting battles, conquer the matches with your friends and become the number one mech player!

Finally a mech game with usable arms

While this game does need work (currently) its still a pretty decent game overall and has alot of potential.......this is one of the only decent mech games that allow you to move your arms around instead of only having gun arms, I love mechs but I prefer having full mobility of your arms so you can have better aim with weapons plus have melee weapon capabilities which this game has thankfully.....feels amazing switching to different weapons like the shield or axe

Ideas to make the game better:
1) impove on melee physics/mechanics and make them do more damage overall
2)have the ai mechs move around more, currently they usually meet up and shoot at each other without moving around too much
3)have different mechs, saw the coming soon mech and I think that would be amazing for the game
4)have more melee weapons and add just a fist option for people to punch with
5)have more singleplayer/coop stuff like having missions with you taking over bases with army men with ragdoll physics, tanks and other mechs or defending a base from those same enemies
6)have mod support and make a sdk tutorial for it, I think alot of people would buy this game to use mods and play as there favorite characters from stuff like gundam or titan fall (I'd personally try and mod it if I could) also simple modding like textures would be decent to put "stickers" or different designs on them

Really hope you guys continue the development of the game, overall id recommend the game for the price and for people that want a mech game with usable arms.....if you need any beta testers I'd be honored to do so

If the game gets updated alot I'll update my review in the future

Edit: thanks for the reply devs....can't wait to see your game grow, looking forward to seeing melee improvements and mods in the future....also yes I'd love to be a beta tester for sure if I can, I've always found game development so interesting and I'd love being part of the beta test process....plus I've done some beta testing for other vr games in the past and I've had alot of fun doing it

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback and kind words about our game! We’re thrilled to hear that you appreciate the full mobility of the mech arms and the variety of weapons available. Your suggestions are incredibly valuable to us, and we’re committed to making the game even better.
---- Improving Melee Mechanics: We’re already working on enhancing the melee physics and mechanics to make them more impactful and satisfying.
---- AI Movement: We agree that more dynamic AI behavior would enhance the gameplay experience. We’re looking into ways to make AI mechs more mobile and strategic in their movements.
---- New Mechs: Stay tuned! We’re excited about the new mechs coming soon and believe they’ll add a lot of variety and excitement to the game.
- More Melee Weapons: Adding more melee options, including a fist option, is a great idea. We’ll explore this further to give players more combat choices.
---- Singleplayer/Co-op Missions: Expanding the singleplayer and co-op content is on our roadmap. We love the idea of missions involving base takeovers and defenses with diverse enemies.
---- Mod Support: We understand the importance of modding for the community. We’re considering adding mod support and creating an SDK tutorial to help players customize their experience.

+++ As a small studio, we need more time to update the game, but we’re committed to continuous development and improvement. Your feedback helps guide us in the right direction. If you’re interested in beta testing, we’d be honored to have you on board. Thank you for recommending our game and for your support. We look forward to updating you with new features and improvements!
