The mechanic should be simple. Hold bow in one hand, pullback draw string with other, aim then release. However I repeatedly couldn't grab the drawstring and gave up after about 5 minutes of futilely grabbing at thin air. Even for £1.49 the game isn't worth it. It's an incredibly frustrating experience.
The archery sections of some of theulti sport games I've played are the ones I enjoy most soni was excited to try this out. But it's disappointing. Graphically simple, visually a bit dull and hard to move past levels makes it borining.
There are glitches too. Often you can't grab the bow string. Sometimes the bow disappears.
I can't wait to see what this game becomes later with some updates. I would love to see an actual practice level that teaches us to aim bc it doesn't seem exactly like real archery aiming, it is a little bit of a learning curve but so close to being great. I also agree big time with the other commenter that left hand mode would be great, I like to switch hands and was bummed I couldn't. I think having having differnt modes for beginners and advanced would be helpful too, like in the beginning I feel like you shouldn't have to get higher than 6 on each target just to move forward if you are new to archery. Maybe having 1 extra arrow on each level to try again would be better. And lastly I'd love to have a retry button so when you know you won't get the score you need to move on you can just not waste your time and hit retry. Otherwise really enjoying this!
I think this has good bones and could be a very good game. I would like to see an option to select left handed shooting in the future. The mechanics are solid, though, and simulates real barebow shooting.
