it could be a great game

I love escape room games and the rooms are really well made.
i don't really like playing games with jump scars but i can stand it because i really like this game.
Like many others, I would like to do it without a time limit.
I don't mind to see the video for the lost ending if you have not finished it in time, but you should be able to go back to the room to finish it, without having to start again. Especially as some puzzles needs a little bit of luck.
What has happened to me a few times, is that I dropped something and couldn't pick it up again and had to restart the room. Of course unhappy if you are almost done with the room as you are not able to safe.
Nevertheless, the game is great and really fun.

Great team play

We have only made it through the first two levels and wow is it fun. My wife and I play together and its just challenging enough to keep it interesting. Only reason its not a 5 is because the graphics could be better and the movements more refined. If I could id give it a 4.5!

Listen to Your Fan Base

I love Escape Rooms, both in VR and real life. In a real life Escape Room -- which you say you want to emulate -- it's true there's usually a timer. But they ALSO have a robust Hint System, where you can get a hint or two from staff (or otherwise) to help you get through a stuck point. In VR, the other great Escape Rooms I've played (e.g. The Room VR is among the best) allow for a Save Game system. Both features cut down on the frustration for users generally, since they may come to the game with different skill levels and puzzle-solving approaches.

Your product -- while otherwise impressive -- has neither. This is baffling. Because even with a quick read through the first screen of Reviews I counted at least 5 people who have strongly suggested you remove the Timer feature, and/or allow Save Games. Yet you persist in defending the position that you want to "recreate" a real-life Escape Room experience. In my case, I have sadly given up because the stress / pressure of trying to finish before time runs out is NOT what I play for.

As these Reviews begging for no Timer pile up, they will discourage other buyers of your otherwise-excellent game. Sad for everyone. I suggest you listen with a more open mind. The drumbeat is getting louder.

Good not great.

Game leans towards a creepy/horror vibe which isn't my preference, and has 2 Aztec themed levels which seems redundant when there are only 5 levels. I wish they had an easy mode. I have to use walkthroughs because it's too hard for me and my partner, and it's not like "oh yeah, I should've figured that out" it's like "how on Earth was I supposed to figure that out?" There are things I don't understand even after knowing the answer. Many parts of the puzzles could be easily transformed into a simpler version for people who want something more casual. Or without an easy mode, it would really be nice if there were a hint system, like in real escape rooms. It REALLY decreases the fun when I have to look up a walkthrough on YouTube on my phone while keeping my headset on.

I agree with others that there should be an option for no timer. I personally do not enjoy the timer and it is unnecessary for a game, as opposed to a real life Escape Room which has hard costs associated with each minute played. People are paying for your game and they have a right to play the game they want to play it, provided it can be coded in easily. An option to remove the timer is essentially no work, and would allow customers to play the way they prefer to play.

Having said that, it's ~10 hours of moderately fun gameplay for $20. I'm still satisfied with the purchase, but I would have preferred 5 hours of very fun gameplay, AKA hints and/or easy mode and no timer.

Need to be able to turn timer off

I'm not a big puzzle gamer and not much of a fan but enjoy these every now and then, bad news this is a timed event which would be nice if u could turn the timer off and take ur time to finish it , with no progress save kills the motivation to even want to beat the clock, typical escape room so no progress is saved if u run out of time which happens. Kinda kills a game as I'm not about to redo 75 percent of a puzzle room over again to play the last part. So on to the next room to repeat same progress. End up playing all rooms for one run only timer goes off end of room. Very difficult in solo better with 2 much better with more. Seriously this is not a solo game . If ever progress was saved these games would be worth finishing a room but some puzzles like the pic scramble is extemely boring and troublesome to do over. If only it had at least one auto save per room 2 even better otherwise it's not worth more than 10 bucks at the most as a short cheap experience. Shatter is way better and the best in MR mixed reality. Amazing game, unfortunately it has no saves either kinda lazy development as ppl have complained about it. But I prefer sitting have to stand again feels lazy not to add it with auto saves.

Thank you for purchasing our game. We intentionally did not include a mid-save mode at launch to provide a real life escape room experience. We also designed the gimmicks to be fun for two or more players to experience together, and many of the gimmicks require you to stand up to solve, so unfortunately we were unable to include a sit-down mode. We appreciate your feedback and will discuss it with our developers to make your experience better.
